Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Constant static I have my monitors connected to a usb midi mixer (edirol by roland) through rca to 1/4 phone plugs and have a constant static noise with light beeping as soon as theyre on before any audio is playing. Even while playing sound at low levels i can hear the noise while at higher levels i cant even notice it. As of now i havent used them since because i am afraid of causing any damage. Is this a minor issue i should overlook or will it damage the monitors in the long run? If i could have any input on this matter I would be so appreciative- Thank you

How to connect behringer ms16 monitors to a xenyx q8o2usb?

Hello, i've read and watched the manual and the xenyx itself and what. there is to understand if you just read everything. Your speakertje come at the output of your xenyx and that thing you can use as audio source or put your soundsources in your mixer and just play it.
  • Built-in stereo USB/Audio Interface to connect directly to your computer. Free audio recording, editing and podcasting software plus 150 instrument/effect plug-ins downloadable at behringer.com
So just use the mixer as your audio interface and your ready. The xenyx is nice for the money, the ms-16 which they call 'studio'-monitots is offcourse nonsens. Nice sounding laptop speakers are they, but in a home studio you need at least speaker 400euro/piece , but you can play with this nicely.

How to connect Behringer qx1200 mixer with pc and pc/speaker? I tried all solutions but i didnt' get any sound. Earphones works great

the mixer connects to the pc via usb or analogue i/p's
the mixer does not connect to the pc speaker
this has to be done with the software you're running on your computer
the easiest way is..plug the headphone o/p into any amplifier line i/p
( amp and speakers or powered monitors ) and forget about the pc speaker ..they're sh!te period ..or you can plug the headphone
o/p into the mixer then the mixer into an amp but this is more complicated and you will need to read up on it
but do yourself a favour and get some small multimedia speakers
similar to these for starters http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENIUS-BLACK-MULTIMEDIA-STEREO-SPEAKERS-SYSTEM-for-LAPTOP-DESKTOP-PC-COMPUTER-UK-/250929417549?pt=UK_Computing_Speakers&hash=item3a6c8f0d4d

Alot of static or interference through speakers

Check all leads are plugged in the right spots and are in good condition. Sometimes "static" is caused by plugs not connecting properly.

This seems like at cables have gone bad or either the connections in the speakers went bad. Its best to replace them unless you know how to disassemble and re-soder the connections.

I'm need tech support..........

1. You should be able to connect the midi up to the digi 001, if not get an 002, 003. The 001 is so outdated and will not support newer pro-tools software especially plug-ins.I know I had the 001. Now with the 003 rack(love it).and PT 7.4. Research how to plug a midi device into PT.
2.Would google EMU XL compatability.
3.refer to 2.
4. No just memory(RAM)
5.cool...yes why couldn't you?
6.You should be able to come out of the digi, then to a power amp, then the BAs

My AS 500 Sound Bar speakers are crakeling (PArt # 4y463)

Usually, the crackling indicates a connection that's not making a good connection. you can try twisting the plug where it connects to your computer and see if you can get it to make a better connect. Also, you may try cleaning the plug itself. When cleaning contacts with any sort of household alcohol, be aware that it can leave a residue so you'll need to use a clean/dry tissue to dry the plug and remove any residue. -hope that helps.

The static is probably coming from the computer sound card itself. Turn the volume down on the computer mixer it should limit the static you are hearing.

Connection to Mixer

I am not sure about that brand but on my Roland Speakers, the TRS jack lives inside the XLR. I first missed it. Take an XLR and try to connect. I can't imagine that they would not have XLR especially for studio monitors. Also are your speakers passive or active, that is something that I would seriously at. No amplitude, low signal, no active.
