I have a SRT2319 model of TV from Sylvania put i loosed the remote control, and now i just wanna to put it on AV mode to play video games,but i can't.I bought a universal remote put i haven't found the code to control the TV.
You will have to call the number on the back of the TV. There you can by a remote. I had the same problem.
I got my direct tv remote to at least pull up the menu with the remote code 10171 which was provided on the direct tv website. I have a 2003 Sylvania SRT2319 But i still can't switch to aux mode or anything that will let me use my dvd player. Guess I'll call the 800 number. I tried to auto scan, but still no luck.
Pguy-on the universal remote you bought check to see if there is an auto code scan,try to auto scan this will go through all the tv codes in the remote.If this don't work you'll have to purchase another remote,not all remotes will program to a certain unit.I hope this helps,let me know. cooltek Feb.15/08

Is there a way to put it on AV "without" a remote?
I have the Sylvania model SRT 2319 televison
and do not have a remote. The "universal' remote I bought from Radio Shack does not work. Can I buy a remote that will work?
My remote has an TV/AV mode, but when I switch to it, I get AUX mode. I'm trying to record my 8mm camera to VCR tape and it requires to go to AV Mode, which I can't. Can you help.. I have an ORION 13 inch, I use for that purpose.
Remote got worn and broke and can no longer get it into AV mode. :(
