Question about Cell Phones
I am not able to recieve mms or use browser on my phone. I got it to work before, but for some reason, it is no longer working.
Just got me a LG KU990 recently and I had to program the MMS Settings manually as well. I have T-Mobile. And this worked for me.
STEP 1) Main Menu (4 Dots on main screen) >Settings > Phone Settings > Connectivity > Access Points
T-Mobile should have automatically sent you a free text message that allows you to install/download some settings if not, from Access Points, go to Options > Add New
Then enter the following information:
Connection Title: WAP Settings_OTA
STEP 2) Go to Messaging > Settings > Multimedia Message >
Multi Msg Centre > Options > Add New
Connection Mode: TCP with Proxy
Access Point: WAP Settings_OT
(from Step 1)
Save it. And it should work. If not, go the the T-Mobile website. Hope it works out.

Hi this is common problem you have 2 options the first and easyiest is to contact your service provider and they will send you the setting via a text message this will update your phone to the correct settings the other way is goto your service providers web site and on it you should find a link to send the settings to your phone not all companys have this feature yet but contacting them by phone will solve your problem.
When they send you a txt msg it will automatically update your phone for you and then you will have no problems let me know how you get on ok

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS SOLUTION. I've spoken with t-mobile many times and they had walked me through the above process many times, only with several different codes and always without an MMS proxy code, and always having me mark TCP without proxy instead of TCP with proxy as above. Then I got the run around saying to contact LG for the solution and LG made it very clear that the code is dependent upon the network provider. So now that I have the solution, i realize that LG was right and that T-mobile just may not want to give out the proper code that uses a proxy for whatever reason (beyond wanting you to purchase their crappy phones). Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!!!!!
