Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV

1 Answer

Fixya payments terry, have you ever collected anything from fixya yet?? I had enough coming to get something last November and have been waiting on them ever since.. First it was some paperwork they needed, then it was an error in the paperwork I filled-out.. Then it was, "we'll get a check to you in a week..." then it was we can't do checks how about a money gram or western union - both of which would cost me... It always seems like something and I've been playing this game for months now... Just wondered if you had any of the same problems.. I don't really need the money just the principal of the thing.. Finally got my check yesterday - their accounting principals are VERY weak... By that I mean the least of their concern is paying the "experts" what is due them... It would be damn easy to re-create this type of site and steal the show so-to-speak. They should really value the people who make this site a lot more.

It's a check drawn on a foreign bank and it's long overdue. Then, it's not everything I would have had coming and what got held out was not quite half of the $50.00 you need to request a payment.. I wonder if any of the regulatory agencies has looked into this?

In any event, get ready for a period of wait Terry...

Seems like I've had more and more requests here on Fixya and some were some pretty tough dawgs. But I never see any of the money or premium requests any more - have you?

How's your payment from Fixya coming along??

Why did I not receive my monthly pension on the first week of October?

Hi Pacita:
It is very unlikely that anyone on FIXYA will have an answer for you.
May I suggest that you contact your Pension Plan Administrator.
Best of luck.
Cheers.

Household steamer not heating at all

Well, first thing, just hook up service water and turn it on so the water heats up. Leave it long enough for water to get hot. If water doesn't get hot like should, then heating unit is malfunctioning. If it is getting hot after a while, you pull the handle trigger and water comes out, you have to wait long enough for the hot water to get to the head/trigger for it to go into the nozzles. If it was working ok before, and you were waiting for the water to heat, then then it should be working fine. Tell me what is happening if you wait for water to heat and get to the nozzles. I'm right here at my computer and we can get this thing going if the heater unit is good. Regards, Rigger.

I made late payments in last four months and my credit score went down. Can anyone help me improving my score?

Your credit score is based on several criteria. The amount and type of lines that you have, your payment history for those lines, and registered liens, collections or judgements against you and how many times your credit has been viewed by members.
So if you have a collection of credit cards, most of which you don't use, cancel them. The more debt you have the more it will negatively impact your credit score. So the collection of store and major credit cards is not a good thing. Keep 2 and ditch the rest. Secondly, stop missing payments! It is very messy to keep missing the statement dates, not to mention expensive as most credit cards now charge a late payment fee. The good news is that the longer you go without missing payment the less of an effect the missed payments have. Make sure you do not miss more. It shows poor financial organization and makes you look unreliable.
If you have collections liens or judgements, you can find out if the have been discharged. If you have paid them and they are not showing as being discharged you need to contact the credit bureau and have that fixed.
Finally, do not continuously apply for credit cards. Every time a member (credit company) requests to view your history it reduces your score. So when they guy at the hockey game tells you applying is free, he is very very wrong, it costs you points off your credit score. The reason for this is that a constant flow of applications makes you look like a credit seeker. Not a good label. So even though you can get a discount for applying, unless we are talking a significant amount of money, don't apply for the store credit card.
If you credit needs a lot of repair, try getting a small loan. In Canada I would recommend an RSP loan. Then just make the monthly payments, DO NOT pay it off ahead of schedule; it is called a credit HISTORY which won't help you if there is no history to see because you paid the loan off before it matured. If you do something like this, do not miss any payments or all you have done is made a bad situation worse.
That is a lot of information. Hope some of it helps.

actually your buyer can definitely cancel his/her payment on paypal since its unclaimed.. then if they dont want to continue the transaction just file a cancel transaction case on the resolution centre then wait 8days then close the case. you will not be charge for the final value fee and the case will be cancelled. :)

I have a suspended ebay account. I paid 18.19 that was due on Nov. 17th. I thought that was the problem. It remains suspended and I have no idea why? Ca you assist me?

Hi there!

With regard to the suspension in your account, if it's about billing it could be that your account's being charged off.
A charge off means eBay has recognized your balance as debt to eBay for accounting purposes. Keep in mind that you still owe this amount to eBay. Additionally, eBay reserve the right to pursue collections efforts, including use of a collection agency.

To avoid further collections efforts and to remove the suspension,I recommend that you need to pay for the fees. eBay will reinstate your account as soon as eBay receive payment for this amount.
Here's what to do:
-- Check your invoice
To see the overdue balance and a breakdown of the fees you've been charged, follow these steps:
1. Go to My eBay. You may be asked to sign in.
2. Click the "Account" tab.
3. Click the "All account activity" link under your current balance.
You'll see a summary of your latest invoice and a list of fees, credits and payments from the last 4 months. To see a previous invoice, select the one you want from the "Invoices" drop-down menu on the right side of the page.
-- Make a payment
eBay accept payment by PayPal, direct debit, credit card, check, or money order.
Here's how to make a one-time payment:
1. Go to My eBay. You may need to sign in.
2. Click the "Account" tab.
3. Under "Payment methods for Seller Fees," click the "one-time payment" link.
4. Follow the instructions to complete your payment.
How long will it take for your payment to go through?
-- One-time credit card and direct debit payments post immediately to your account.
-- PayPal payments take approximately 5 business days to post.
-- Checks take approximately 7-10 business days to post.
To learn more about paying your eBay seller fees, go to:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/pay-fees.html
Once your payment has been posted, your account will be reinstated automatically, and you'll be able to start selling on eBay again immediately.
I hope I've explained this clearly. If you have any problems please add a note here or you can send another concern.

I hope this helps. Please rate if it does!

Just a question

At the end of each month, FixYa calculates your total Premium Assistance earnings for that month. If your earnings total $50 or more, FixYa will process them for payment. Monthly earnings of less than $50 remain in your account and are added into the following month's earnings.
FixYa sends your earnings to you via your preferred method of payment within 30 days of the end of the payment period. For example, if your account contains $60 in earnings on October 31st, your $60 payment will be issued via your preferred method of payment by November 30th.
We strongly recommend you choose paypal as your preferred payment method, as paypal payments are faster, easier and cheaper than checks by mail.
Please make dure you update your prefered payment choice in your profile - either check or paypal only , other wise your payment will be delayed until the following payment cycle as we only batch out once amonth.
You can find more information about the payment program in the expert terms of use: http://www.fixya.com/ExpTerms.aspx
Feel free to contact us with any questions at experts@fixya.com
Regards,
Chantelle
It has come to our attention that your are missing preferred payment information and this will cause a delay in this month's payment cycle.
In your profile currently you have chosen PayPal as your preferred choice of payment but haven't provided any information.
Please provide us with a PayPal account so your payment can be issued.
If you don't have a PayPal account, please provide the following information so that a check can be issued:

· Full Name (as appears on your ID or bank account)
· Address
In order to be paid this month please email me this information direct ASAP otherwise payment will be carried over into next months payment cycle.
Please update your profile so future delays don't occur as well.

Statements in QuickBooks

If you do not want your statements to reflect any payments, go to the top of your tool bar, click on Edit, go down to "Preferences", find the "Sales and Customers", go to "Company Preferences", and at the bottom you have the option to "Automaticly apply Payments", make sure that is not checked.

If this helps, please rate me. Thanks, Patty
