EPSON SX600SX - this is a real problem printer, mine started going wrong after just a few weeks from new, epsons only help was for me to drive thier "local" repair center (subcontractor) a 50 mile round trip) to drop it off, wait a week for repair, then another trip to collect, another 50 mile trip, few weeks later despite minimal use, went wrong again so taken back again, and then 3 or 4 times, i kept taking it back until warranty expired , so after 500 miles driving. when it went wrong shortly after last repair and the after warranty had expired, i took it to a local inpependent expert (1 mile round trip) and he said this is one of the worst printers he had ever come accross and i should put it in a rubbish bin immediatly, as it would be more cost effective to get a new printer. the reason i got this printer because my last epson printer went on for over a decade, and never had the slightest problem, but sadly the SX600FW is a complete nightmare, and so is epsons "customer service"
SOLUTION TO ANY PROBLEM WITH A EPSON SX600FW - DO NOT WASTE ANY MORE MONEY, CHUCK IT AWAY - best thing i ever did with mine one !!!!!

Wow...that's really odd..sounds like a drum or fuser issue. I suppose you might consider re installing the drivers first, though.

that is most likely from your application. If you can print a test page, then the issue is with your printing application, then.

How do I print 1 page out of several. Cannot find print preview

You can perform this function from the software program you are using. Place the page you want to print on the screen, then go to the print function. Look for something like 'Print current page", or if you have the page number, you can enter it in a 'print pages' box.

The printer will then print what you sent to it.

Web site designers create Web pages for display on a monitor, not for users to print on 8.5- x 11-inch pieces of paper. This becomes obvious the first time you try to print a Web page. Content you need may get chopped off by the right printer margin, whereas content you don’t need, such as the site’s copyright information, will print on its own sheet of paper. Fortunately, you can avoid such problems with a little foresight.

Before printing any Web page, open Internet Explorer’s File menu and select Print Preview. The current Web page will appear on-screen exactly as it will print on paper. Scan the preview carefully. If it appears that some content is chopped off by the right margin, click the Page Setup button located directly to the right of the Print button in the upper-left corner of the Print Preview window. In the resulting Page Setup dialog box, adjust the left and right margins so that each is set to 0.25 inches. The extra inch of space you gain by resetting the margins should provide just enough room to accommodate all of the content on most sites. Click OK to save the changes and return to the Print Preview window.

Next, scan the preview to determine which pages contain the content you want to print. Take note of those pages and click the Print button in the upper-left corner of the Print Preview window. Locate the Print Range heading and select the Pages option. Type the number of the first page you want to print in the From field and type the number of the last page you want to print in the To field. For instance, if you want to print just the first three pages of a Web page’s content, type 1 in the From field and type 3 in the To field. If your browser doesn’t have To and From fields, type the range of pages (such as 1-3) in the corresponding field. Make sure your printer has paper and click Print.

Prints blank page

Have you checked the print que
Printer problems can be a real hassle.
From time to time, due to document layout or settings on your computer, in your software of choice, or even on your printer, a blank page may get "printed" with the rest of your document.
Fortunately, this issue is a simple one to troubleshoot.
Click "Print Preview" when you are finished with your document and ready to print.
Observe your document.
If you see an extra, blank page, you have created a second page.
To delete the second page, close Print Preview, go back into the document and eliminate any blank lines in your documents that you may not need.
You may also find an inadvertent page break at the end of your document.
Place your cursor on its symbol and delete it.
Locate the symbol by clicking on the Show Formatting paragraph icon in the toolbar.

Circumvent this "ghost page" if you do not see a second (or additional) blank page in Print Preview.

Specify the number of pages you wish to print, within the Print dialogue box.
This is typically done by selecting the "Print From" option, then entering the page numbers desired.
If your document happens to be ten pages (without, of course, that final blank page), then enter in the "Print From" field the numbers "1-10".
This will print only pages 1 through 10, without an eleventh (blank) page.

IE 8 When I try to print or print preview in ie 8 a displayed web page, I get a blank page with the URL and page number at the top and bottom. While this problem does not occur with Mozilla

Hi,

This occurs if the page takes a long time to generate what it will print and if you have bad internet connection will make it take longer. Go to print preview of any page go away for a few minutes and then check if it has generated an image.

Thanks.

Hello

Before actually printing your report, use the Print Preview function to see how it will look. If there are blank pages, you will see them in Print Preview.

To use the Print Preview function, simply open the report, click on the "File" menu and choose "Print Preview" from the file menu. You will then see your report just as it will look on the printed page.

Scroll through the report for blank pages. If you see blank pages, it is an indication that the data on the report is wider than the paper you are using. You can use your printer properties to change the size of the paper if you wish. If you have access to legal-size paper, you may be able to print the report on the larger paper. If legal-size paper is not an option, you will need to adjust the margins so that the blank pages are eliminated.

To adjust the margins of your report, click on the "File" menu and choose "Page Setup" from the drop-down box. Go to the Margins tab and adjust the margins as needed. It may take a bit of experimentation to get the margins just right; toggling back and forth between Print Preview and Page Setup will make the process faster and easier.

Click on the "Page" tab and choose either portrait or landscape orientation. Changing the orientation to landscape may allow all the fields to print on the same page, thus eliminating the blank pages and saving your paper.

My computer was printing fine, but now it prints blank pages on every website I try to print from. All I get is "Page 1 of 1" on the top and the website address on the bottom. Same with the print preview....

You must try to print a test page. If it still prints black pages. Maybe it has changed its configuration. You must configure it first to your desired output.

Dsc328 will not print using a Mac

If your copier / printer does not have postscript 3 option installed, it will not print from MAC. Print a configuration page: "User tools", "Printer features" "list print" (or similar), "configuration page". Check under the heading of "printer languages"......you'll see stuff like "PCL 5c", "PCL 6", "RPCS", etc. If no "postscript 3", it is not compatible with your MAC, and you don't want to know how much that option is for your machine! Ridiculous!

HL-2070N will not properly print

My guess is the problem is with Firefox trying to print the page and not the printer. Try to go to File > Print Preview and see if it looks normal there. If not, I have 3 suggestions:
  1. Try to change the "Page Options" or "Scale" under the Print Preview
  2. Try to install and use the Firefox Add-On "IE Tab". This gives you the choice to display the page with Internet Explorer, while still using Firefox. You can turn on IE Tab, and then try to print. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
  3. Upgrade to Firefox 3.
