Megahertz CC2560 Modem

Crashes during testing

By pandamama - usenet poster

I have a Micron Transport Trek with Win98, version 1.1 of 1.01 of
NME, and a Megahertz CC2560.  When I run the before you go tests (The
system check) the test gets to the point where it has just tested for
dial tone and my system reboots.  What could be causing this?  Is
there a problem with NME and Win98?

Bill,

Please try the following in regards to the above:

 - make sure that you have the latest .INF file and drivers for your modem
   (available from the manufacturer)
 - using the Windows Control Panel, uninstall your modem
 - delete TELEPHON.INI from \Windows
 - reinstall your modem using the Control Panel
 - check to see if there are any conflicts between your modem and any other
devices on your system via My Computer/Properties/Device manager. If any
    conflicts are reported, resolve them

Please let us know if you require additional assistance with this matter.
