SCX 4100 Major Paper jam at rear port. Removed - won't power on
I didn't realize paper was jamming in the back. When I opened it there were a few sheets back there. I had to remove the bottom roller to get them out. I replace the roller and closed it all up and now it won't power on.

After a paper jam occurs in the rear cover of a Dell
Laser Multi-Function Printer 1815N, the printer will not resume when
the jammed paper is removed. This is the normal behavior of the printer
as there is no sensor on the rear cover of this printer.
To open the back cover and remove any stuck paper, perform the following steps:
Open and close the front cover. The jammed paper may automatically exit the printer. If the paper does not exit, go to the next step.
Gently pull the paper out of the output tray.
If you cannot see the paper in the output tray or the paper does not move when pulled, open the rear cover.
Skip to step 9. If you do not see the paper, go to the next step.If you see the jammed paper, push the two blue pressure levers up and remove the paper.
Release the blue strap, the rear cover stopper, and fully open the rear cover.
Unfold the duplex guide fully.
While pushing the fuser lever to the right, open the fuser door. NOTICE:
Make sure to unfold the duplex guide before opening the fuser door, or the fuser door may be damaged.
Pull the jammed paper out.
Return the levers, fuser door, rear cover stopper, and duplex guide to their original position.
Close the rear cover.
Open and close the front cover. Printing automatically resumes.
Please make sure there is no paper left (jammed) in the printer compartment. Remove the ink cardridge and see if any piece of paper is jammed below or behind the cardridge place. If there is a cancel button press it several times. Switch off the printer and let it for a few minutes and then turn it on. if nothing of the above worked please ask me again
turn off the printer
open the paper jam door and gently push the paper roller forward until it clicks.
close the door
wait a few minutes
plug the printer back in
turn it on and see what happens.
Hello, Don't try a dozen things suggested by people online who's credentials are unknown. Go straight to the source.
I had the same issue and just went to www.samsung.com - looked up my model #, downloaded the PDF manual 86 pages and did a search for that error. It had step by step picture diagram of how to clear out the jam.
I just saved the company a few hundred on a service call to our printer sales/service vender.
