Software failure my software will not come back up on my screen. I've reinstalled it, the program is there, but will not open.

Depending on what type of S/W it is, you probably need to Right click on the .exe and choose "Open With" and then browse for the proper program to open the particular S/W with. That should cure your problem as the default program associated with that particular program could have been done so in error.

Some webcams and programs require additional software, although that should be installed with the webcam if things are right.
But is does not harm to check if your Java, Flash and Quicktime software are installed and up to date.
But certainly check your DirectX software, since all video applications, including webcams, use DirectX for video processing.

<p>Backing up your computer is extremely important. Without it, it would be a hard drive failure or corrupted file may cause that you lose all your data. When these disasters may also lose valuable time in the operating system and reinstall the software before returning to work. Avoid loss of data and loss of time by an image from your hard disk or partition. While in Mozilla homepage, please click on "view". It can be found in the higher left part of your screen. then hit on "toolbars" then check on "navigation toolbar". I hope this helps.

It could be a corrupted printer driver on your computer. You may need to completely uninstall the printer driver first before reinstalling the new driver. If you are using Windows, go to Start menu > Programs or All Programs > Lexmark 6500 Series > Tools > Uninstall. Once the uninstall process is complete, reboot pc when prompted.
Then download and install the driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/hVA0vj. Select your operating system, download and execute the file. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.

Theres something popping up always on my screen asking to "insert the Dell Communications( Support Software) disk and click ok. but where am i gonna get that software i dont have that software..trying...


Could be a problem with the software or that the software is missing. Uninstal Dell Support software through Programs and features and reinstall here;

Clcik on "start" at lower left of screen, find "control panel" and click on to open. In your list(icons) find "Programs and features". Right click on and open. Find "Dell Support Center" in your list. Right click on that and click uninstall. When finished, retsrat computer. Now, go to link above and do the download. Restart again when finished. Look in programs and features to make sure it showed back up.

There are two reason for this error message
1 Hardware failure
2 Software failure(OS)

I've uninstalled magicjack software from my desktop (XP). Not able to RE-Install it. I 've disabled every single firewall in my machine, even then i am not able to install it. It is giving me an error...


Magicjack is still on the regserv (don`t do any changes in regserv coz it can lead to OS failure or blue screen ) and in this case you can try to reinstall but go for a custom installation where you can specify your own path for installation , change the directory to install (like instead of program files install it in d:) - that will install it again

  • Hi, if your trying to "Re-install the Norton Security Software, and you had a problem or error while "Installing"; do the following: check the "Firewall," check to see if the Firewall is blocking the "Program" from being downloaded. Next check to see if there is already a "Security" software setup on the computer that is "conflicting with the download / reinstalling. You may need to have someone that have experience in checking theses areas if you have trouble finding them. I'm going to give you direct instruction to go to these areas you need to check. First, click on the "Start Button" when the window open, look in the (right side pane area) find the "Icon, Control Panel, click on it to open. There will be alot of listings, choose the "Security; Allow a program through Windows Firewall." There will be (3) buttons in the "Top" area of the next window, select the "Exception" button, click on the "Add program..." the window will change again, scroll through the "Programs until you find "Norton Security" and "highlight' just click on it, and "Click on the OK button. Restart the computer open the "software" you want to "Install / Reinstall and select to Install; follow all the instructions. Now if there is another security software interfering with the install, you have to go back to the "control Panel again, select to open, in the next window click on the (Programs) "Uninstall a program," find the software (highlight to uninstall), once you are finished, restart the computer; this will fix everything properly, if all goes well. Hi,
I think ur laptop webcam driver not installed properly.If ur laptop have windows vista operating system then do these steps.
Goto Start - Programs - Recovery Manager - Recovery Manager.In that recovery manager,click on next.Its shows the Software reinstallation page.Click on next button two times.Its shows the software lists.Select the webcam software and click on next button.After reinstallation completed , u restart laptop and check it.
If ur laptop have windows XP operating system then u uninstall the webcam software through Add/Remove program and restart it.After restarting ,Reinstall the web cam software and check it. If u doesnt have webcam drivers then u go for nearest service centre and install it.
