Good Day:
The Canon OEM battery is a very good one and the instructions come with it, if that is where you brought it from. However, you can also purchase a "wet-cell 12.6volt, 7.2Amp Hour battery and buy the power recepticle from Radio Shack along with a short (6ft) section of 2 conductor wire and and the female spade lug connectors with any "Wal-Mart" variable voltage power adapter and make your self a battery source that lasts 14 times longer that the OEM Canon battery.

Humble Regards

Can my printer be instructed to ignore out of date color cart to finish it's boot up process? I only need B/W copies.

Hi Jessica!
Sadly there's no way to reset the Hours counter of the printer cartridges unless you open up your printer and do a trick on the mainboard, it's easy but you have to open up your printer:
-Open up the printer
-You should see the mainboard
-On the mainboard look for a button cell battery
-Remove that battery and leave the printer without it for an hour or more to let the mainboard CMOS discharge and lose the hours counter.
-At this time reinsert the battery and close the printer.
Power on the printer and see if the problem is solved!
This works with so much HP Printers, but not for everyone, if you want, try, but in my opinion, you'd do better going to a remanufactured cartridges seller and ask them if they give you for free an empty color cartridge for your printer! In this way the printer will recognise the cartridge as a used, but never used on your printer, so it will say "Cartridge used or counterfeit" but you'll be able to print in B/W!
Hope you found it useful, for every futher question i'm here :)

With a 1440 watt and 12 volt, the battery must be over a thousand AH. (ampere/ hour) because for the 1440 watt, you need a current of more than 100 ampere. But even with a few hundreds of watt, you need a very powerful battery, because 300 watt, will pull 30 amps from the battery. A car battery with even 100 AH can't deliver that.

Antenna cable would go into ANT in
What cable did you use to connect box to tv.
I don't have the user manual so I am guessing that ANT out is for analogue channels 3 and 4 to go through to the tv. think
I suspect the coaxial out would go out to a video in type connection on the television.
If the Television has HDMI inputs I
you should go out and buy a HDMI cable and use HDMI out on the box.
Does the remote control for the box have a plastic strip in the battery compartment that stops the batteries. Or are batteries in the battery compartment.?

Where's the battery in hp c5130 photosmart?

As far as can be determined there is none. The owners manual should specify if there is and the battery type along with instructions on how to replace. Owners manual can be downloaded from HP direct.

Can anybody has information about what type of cmos/rtc battery is used in HP J3608 or what is the battery specifications

You can use normal 3V cmos battery, widely using in system mother boars, but you need to solder it. If similar kind of battery available near by you better to replace it or else solder normal CMOS batter with proper polarity..

My computer willnot power up anymore.

1.Look at the battery indicator light on your computer. Is it on? If so, check your brightness settings. If your laptop appears that it is not on, it may in actuality have lowered brightness settings. If the brightness setting is at its lowest setting, the laptop screen will be completely dark, and the laptop will appear to be powered off, even though it is not. Try cranking up the brightness settings.

2.Check your AC power adapter. Is it snugly plugged into the wall or surge protector? Make sure the connection is made and it is not loose. Also, try connecting the power adapter into a different wall outlet.

3.Check the status of your laptop battery by considering how long you have had the same battery. Most modern batteries are only good for about 1,000 full charges. After that point, the battery can and eventually will greatly deteriorate. Replace your battery if necessary.

4.Replace your battery by powering off your laptop and then flipping it over and locating the battery cover outline, which will be near the bottom back of your laptop. Remove any screws with a Phillips screwdriver and pop off the battery cover. Slide out the old battery. Put in the new battery by sliding it in until it clicks, and then replace the cover.

5.Consider replacing your laptop monitor. Your laptop may power on, but if the monitor display does not work, it will appear to be off and you will not be able to operate the machine. Check to see if your current LCD display works by plugging your laptop up to an external monitor using a VGA cable. If the external monitor displays your computer contents, your computer motherboard and underlying systems are still working, but your display will need to be replaced.

6.Replace an LCD display by removing the screws around the bezel of your current display with a Phillips screwdriver. Pop off the bezel carefully and remove it. Then, locate the screws on the two metal brackets beneath the bezel and on either side of the display, and remove these too.

7.Disconnect the inverter cable, which is plugged into the inverter. The inverter is located just beneath the display, at the bottom-center of the laptop. Then, pull back and slide out the old display, and replace it with the new. Put the metal bracket screws back in place, reconnect the inverter cable, and then pop the bezel in place. Replace the bezel screws.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thanks.

No power will not trun on

Plug in the printer power cord into electricity to charge the battery. The battery might need charging if the On light flashes green it indicates that the battery is charging.

Switch ON the printer, the battery charging icon (lightning bolt icon) flashes above the battery icon on the printer screen to indicate that the battery is charging.

If the battery is charged and the printer does not turn on with the battery power, unplug the printer power cord, if it is plugged in. Open the battery compartment and remove the battery. Wait for about 10 seconds, and then reinstall the battery.

An empty battery should fully charge in approximately four hours when the printer is not in use. If the battery still does not charge in 4 hours, you should replace it

Good luck

Top Solution thanks - Take that HP!

Slight amendment as battery is hard to remove:

The battery is accessed by opening top then can be seen on extreme left at front. No need to take it out, slip a strip of plastic like an old credit card under the clip on top of battery to insulate it. Then do a soft reset (# and 6 and power down) with the battery insulated. Power up - Power down, remove insulator power up. Eureka!
