The Konica 7020 has service error in the display, I have used a key stroke sequence to reset the unit guided by a Konica tech but cannot find the key sequence to reset I previously used and the tech has moved on without new contact details.
Konica wont sent a service tech as I dont have a contract and they want to replace the printer can you help service request

you need to reset the fuser latch as it has a fuser error code most likely needs new thermisters,
anyways give this a go, hold down 2 and 5 keys together and power on machine, this will put you into to a service mode call 25 mode, go to dip switch 3 and bit 1 and then next to bit 1 hit the key that says turn off,
turn machine off and back on should clear error code, if it doesnt you need new thermisters, even when you put in new thermisters you still need to clear this error in service mode

You'll probably need to call a tech & have him Clean the sensor in the drum unit, chances are thats why you had faded copies in the 1st place,that sensor works with the tds sensor in the dv unit to add toner,good luck
Pls refer below to clear the "Unable to Clean" error:
1. Enter MAINTENANCE MODE: Press MENU, MONO START 4x on ARROW UP within 2-3 sec
2. Using the ARROW UP botton, press botton and wait for the ff #:
a. 8 then press SET
b. 0 then press SET
3. Using the MONO START, just press until the word "PURGE XXXXX" comes out
4. Using the ARROW UP botton, press botton and wait for the ff #:
a. 2 then press SET
b. 7 then press SET
c. 8 then press SET
d. 3 then press SET
e. Press Stop/Exit
(This is to reset the purge counter)
5. Using the ARROW UP botton, press botton and wait for the ff # to appear:
a. 0 then press SET
b. 1 then press SET (to reset unit)
c. 9 then press SET
d. 9 then press SET (to exit maintenance mode)
If after this procedure you still encounter problem, see your service center
