Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a vox ad100vt 212 it doesn't produce sound what could be the problem

Tube stage in the preamp, give it time to warm up, else could be the 12AX7 tube gone bad, otherwise not worth saving aside from the speaker drivers. Amp and control circuitry were not well made. If new tube does not fix, gut circuitry and install a real amp.

Could someone help me find out what tubes are used in the AF section of my Crosley XJ radio?

I found this little bit of info for a 5-tube model... hope it helps:

Card says use uv-201 A or C-301 A tubes. or any equivalent tube that use 1/4 amp at 5 volts

Not near enough information my friend.

I need the Make of your radio and the Model number of your radio before I can even begin to assist, as long as it is a Kenwood 2-way radio.

Please give me as much info as you can, it all helps in getting a solution for you.

Cheers,

Kenwood outdoor radio ODR-02 user manual

Hi,

Unless Kenwood.com has copies available for download, I don't like your chances, unless another ODR-02 user has a link they can post for you to downoad in this forum, we'd be so happy for your assistance.

I hope you have success here.

Cheers,
Peter

Excalibur SSB base radio will work fine one day,not the next.

Might be worth checking the microphone cable on the transceiver, specially near the plug, or the push to talk switch. I saw this umpteen years ago with a CB that was intermittent.

High voltage capacitors are a bit hard to find but look on the net for vintage radio suppliers. While you have the tube radio open, look for resistors that gone high, this can put higher voltages than design on the caps and of course can quickly wreck tubes that were otherwise OK.
