I had this same problem. It turned out that I had MP4A files rather than MP3 files. Connect to PC and open the GPX as a folder and check properties for the files or if Vista the file type should show over the files. I converted the MP4a files to MP3 using a program called Switch.

There may be other problems that result in Nofile message but check out the file type and see if that could be the problem.

Good Luck!

My Coby MP200 will not play the songs that are on it.

While it may be something you're well aware of, did you navigate to the folder on the Coby where the songs reside? Is it possible you loaded the mp3s in a directory that is not the default and so the player doesn't see any music. Another possibility is the copyright protection won't allow the player to play the songs. The license may reside on your computer but is not on the mp3 player. Last two thoughts (as stupid as they sound) are is volume up? Is earphones securely plugged in? Have you tried the earphones on another unit to make sure they work? You will need to put the Zen into recovery mode and erase the firmware, then reload the firmware. Follow these steps:

To Erase the Firmware:

1. Get a paperclip and straighten it out.

2. Hold down the Play/Pause button, and put the paperclip through the reset hole. Release the paperclip while continuing to press the Play/Pause button until you see the screen change.

3. Select "Reload Firmware."

To Load the new Firmware:

Go to www.Creative.com/support --> downloads. Click through the navigation and download the latest Zen Touch firmware. Reboot your computer, then plug in your Zen via USB cable. Double-click the firmware icon and then click upgrade.

Ear phones only play on one side or the other when pushing the plug in and out.

Your supossed to just keep the plug in, if one doesn't work when the plug is fully in, buy new ones.
