Can I reprogram channel 783 to channel 003 - Logitech Harmony 550 Remote Control

  • Anonymous Mar 11, 2010

i have a Logitech Harmony 520 remote control
I my cable company now supplies CBS (Channel 3) on channel 783

I would like to reprogram the control to switch the cable box to 783 when I select channel 3 on the remote.
And this goes for other programs, too.

I a sense I would like to reassign all channels on my control

    Is that possible

    Thanks

    Peter

Well unfortunately, the Harmony 520 doesnt support favorite channels (I dont think). However, you can certainly set this up as a sequence.

1. In the software, click 'Customize Buttons' next to the icon for your Watch TV Activity.
2. Click 'Add Sequence'
3. Name your sequence 'CBS' and add the commands '7', '8', and '3'.
4. Save the sequence.
5. In the button customization for the number '3' button (or any button you want), select 'Sequence' as the deivce name and 'CBS'.
4. Save, and update the remote.

If you used the '3' button, then now in your Watch TV Activity, is you press the '3' button the remote will send 783.

Hope that helps:)

HD channels 101 102 103 on Panasonic Viera coming up as no signal what do I do to restore them

You might need to adjust your antenna and reprogram your channels. It helps to reprogram every once in a while anyway, because new channels are always coming out.

How to reprogram two way radio, its a motorola gp 339 and its set to 5 channels from when i brought it, can i reset it or reprogram it to normal uhf channels?

In order to reprogram this Motorola GP339 you need to have a programming software, radio interface box and programming cable for this radio then you can read and change frequency in it. To reprogram to UHF channels this radio must be in UHF band. Good luck!

Zenith Television

Some of the older sets were just that way. It is best to have the cable plugged into the tuner before you plug the set back up. It should automatically find all available channels upon being plugged in and turned on... will help to know the model of the set.
