Question about Computers & Internet
Does not read dvds at all when a cd is put in the drive it sometimes reads the disk but does not play. and then when you try to eject the disk it is locked up if you then disconnect from the mains it then is unlocked but it still does not play
Geoffrey Thomas firstname.lastname@example.org I'm a RDR GX 210 Owner. I found this problem common with mine. I've found a rather crude but effective way to get my machine working.
If I get a cannot read from the disk message I polish the suface of the effending disk with a dry lint free ( typical cotton bussiness short or pure cotton bed sheet cloth), and re-insert.And Hey presto away it goes.
If anybodies interested I wrote a artical on why DVD don't work, offering solutions

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
