What is the model number of the set?

That has the CTC169 Chassis in it. That set has quite a history of power supply problems. I would suggest getting a good service manual that will give you all the various voltages to check that would be the only way of repairing this set without a high repair bill. Let me know If you would like a service manual and I will post a link.

I am searching for that link for you. Its a hard chassis to find, but I will locate one soon for you.

My Jvc has the timer light on and the screen wont turn on. Is there a reset switch that I might be able to switch or am i out of luck. It is pretty old.

The JVC sets were well known for vertical deflection problems, I'am afraid you can not do anything directly. To fix the set you will need a tv technician to check the set out and advise of the repair cost.

What is normal oil consumption for Chrysler Voyager 1996, 2400, 150cc?

modern cars WILL burn oil at the rate of a pint every 1000 miles(some less, some more)makers say that a pint every 350miles is "acceptable".I do not agree,if you are burning oil at less than 1000miles you need to look at rings/guides,for starters...at least.
on a 14year old car/average mileage i would also suggest using SAE 20/50 oil non synthetic.

T.v wont stay on

How old is your set?
Seems like the main DTV board is not initializing corectly. Try the three steps power-On, power-Off, power-On. Do wait for the internal relay to click everytime.

It is still under warranty. Unless you have a in-house warranty, you will have to send it in for repair.

Sounds like a short somewhere in there. I see old pre-HD big screen sets going for well under $200 on my local craigslist, so look there for a good replacement, because the repair will cost more.

Or fork over about $500 for a good used HD projection set.

Tv clicks off

You most likely have dry joints. If you are not competent with soldering and electronics, you should take it to a qualified repair person. They should not charge you more than £10-15 for repair.

Loss of picture and you still have audio shouldn't bee too difficult or expensive.. Personally I'd recommend repairing it... But take it in yourself, don't pay pickup and delivery and ask for a written estimate first..

If it's not yet a year old it should have some warranty - take it to the shop.. It's probably the HOT (Horizontal Output Transistor) which have been a problem child in this series all the way back to the TXP2745... But don't even crack the case on this one if it's that new - labor might not be covered but parts might. In any event replacing the HOT is not a difficult or expensive job.

My TV keeps shutting off

Tvtek is on the right track. The remote will not solve the problem. Sounds like a voltage regulator in HV circuit if it only lasts a few seconds. If it stays on for a couple of minutes, beam limiter cicuit is pushing to overload and shutting unit down. Magnavox set not hard to repair, but a 27" set is not cost effective to repair either.
