Question about RCA DRC8060N DVD Recorder

Insufficient video signal

I recently switched from Cox Cable to ATT's new Uverse and I've lost the ability to record video on DVDs. I can hook up an external device like a VCR and burn a DVD but trying to do it from the cable box gets an "insufficient video signal" message. It doesn't matter if I use the front or rear input jacks. I'm using good quality RCA cables. I can hear the audio half the time but the video is either blue or a scratchy display. Playing DVDs works fine but I can't get a signal to the RCA for burning purposes.

Do you have any suggestions?
Same problem but with Samsung

IF you are getting that message, I would suspect that may have something to do with the copyright stuff, same like when two VCRs were connected to record a copyrighted movie, the video signal was distorted and unwatchable.
I would suggest to call the cable provider and ask them about it.

Att uverse receiver hooked up to sharp aquos tv, remote quits

first try new batteries and be sure you have pressed the AT&T mode button at the top left of the remote - if you still have issues then on the sharp tv menu - turn off any energy saver mode, Optical Picture Control, taking the picture mode from dynamic or vivid to standard, and if that doesn't work - try changing the backlight settings if your tv has one.

Lost connectivity to network printer when switched to ATT u-Verse

Is the printer connected via wireless? When I recently connected up a new wireless printer to my UVerse network, the printer manual said that establishing the first connection works better via an Ethernet cable directly to the Uverse router. After the printer is set up once, then I could remove the ethernet cable and connect to the printer via wireless from all my computers.
For all wireless PCs that were previously connected via wireless to dsl, you need to create a new network connection for each one, then enter the key that is listed on the side of your Uverse router when prompted. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to establish the connection.
I am amazed that ATT was so unhelpful on these issues. I was one of their first Uverse customers in Texas, and several times over the last years, techs would visit my house to solve a problem or hook something up, explaining to me as he went. That their helpful attitude is deteriorating is a real shame.

The problem is with the ATT UVERSE HDTV BOX and not the Samsung DLP TV. There is an inherent problem with the ATT UVERSE HDTV Box when using a HDMI cable. This was verified by the ATT UVERSE Technician.
