My Microwave works Great sometimes, But to often when I try to heat something up, no matter what setting or time I use the Microwave does not come on. The Light works, turntable spins, timer counts, but no noise or heating.
My microwave wont heat things up. It works sometimes other times theres no light and no heat. I am incredibly frustrated because I havent had it for more than 6 months. What can I do to fix it?
My microwave is doing the same thing. It wont heat up. Ive tried unplugging it, different settings etc. Sometimes it would take 20 minutes to heat something that normally took 2. Im so frustrated!!! Anyone know if there is a recall? Cool microwave but it only worked right for about 4 months!
Every thing works, but no heating and no noise. I am happy you had noticed that there was a difference in the "Noise". Some describe it as a vibration you can feel in the cabinet. The "Noise" is only present when the High Voltage Transformer is engaged. The "Noise" is a low Humm which The High Voltage Transformer emits. Without The High Voltage the unit will not Heat.
BECAUSE you say it heats Sometimes. I suspect a LOOSE CONNECTION between the Low Voltage (115v) and the Primary of The High Voltage Transformer. Could be a Solder Connection, or just a Loose Wire. Loose, not Open. If it were OPEN it would not "Cook" at anytime.
