The waste toner is not on that side of the copier ,it is on the right side of the copier. Just below the MAIN power switch, you well find it. There should be 2 or 3 screws that hold on a pannel about 4" x 16" It is the bottom right side pannel toward the rear. When you take that cover off you will see a big and thin "milky white bottle" pull it out and "carefully" empty it out in a garbage bag- plastic works best. then reinstall it and reinstall the cover. Next, turn the copier On and wait for it to come to ready. Next go in to service mode" hit the additional funcation key (*) then the hit numbers 2 & 8 at the same time, then the (*) key again. the display will change. on the top of the display touch the top right for counters, then touch waste toner to Hi-light it and hit the (C) key and reset key twice and turn the copier off then back on and then you are done.

Looking at the control pannel you have to touch the " additional Funcation key ( * ) touch it once, Then at the same time touch the numbers 2 and 8 togather. Then touch the additional funcation key ( * ). The display should chage..... Touch the "Copier" on the display screen, the sceen changes. Next, look on the top right of the display screen. It shows "Counters", touch that icon then the display will change, scroll though till you see "Waste Toner". Touch, that icon and it will be Hi-Lighted. Then touch the "C" botton on the control pannel, the counter should read all "OOOOOO". Then hit the reset key twice. And then turn the copier off and then on and you are done.

How to remove error E000013-000 canon IR5000 Photocopy mashine?

Waste toner feedscrew (locked)It is likely that the feedscrew inside the waste toner pipe is preventedfrom rotating because of some fault. If the outlet of thewaste toner pipe is clogged with toner, remove the waste tonerdrive unit, and remove the toner. If otherwise, try turning the mainmotor clockwise by hand. If the screw rotates, wait and see whathappens; if the screw does not rotate, replace the waste toner feedingunit.

I am getting the Replace Waste Toner error on my Ricoh CL3000. I have already emptied and cleaned the waste container, and blew off the section of the printer I install the waste bottle onto, but I'm...

not a solution - but a problem... i emptied the toner waste bottle in my MPW2400 and a new error message appears...says there is no toner and it keeps dumping toner from the new cartridge until it is coming out of every orifice of the machine. What is that about?

Cannon Imagerunner 3300 Showing error code E000019-0000

Error code E000019-0000 is a waste toner full error, so to get rid of this error you remove the waste toner bottle which is located left rear side of the machine and dispose the waste toner and dont forget to clean the neck of the bottle because the waste toner might obstract the toner sensor passege and then switch off then on.
good luck, hope it helps if so do rate the solution

My Oki C9600 Printer showed an error message, Reset Drum Basket - Waste Toner Transfer Error. After removing and replacing the toners, drum and waste toner bottle a new message appeared, 940: Fatal Error....

The transfer mechanism of the
toner duct for ID is not operating
properly.

Check to confirm that the basket
assembly is in position (if it is
engaged with the gear of the
printer).
Check to confirm that the holder
magnet D contains a magnet,
and check the magnetic polarity.
Replace the HAL IC circuit
board.
Replace the duct assembly

Waste Toner Light won't go off?

The waste toner is usually a bottle near the toner cartridge which collects excess toner powder from the cartridge. It is usually present in more heavy duty laser printers, not all printers have them as a replaceable supply. You would need to refer to your manual for replacement instructions, they vary from printer model. For this machine, the Waste Toner supply number is #420131. In the case of the first poster, my best guess would be there was spillage of toner on the sensors to detect the waste basket overflowing, hence why the error message is constant. This would require cleaning of the sensors, a relatively simple task but for proper access, the machine would need to be partially disassembles for thorough cleaning. It would be best done at a repair centre.
