i do new installation of windows xp and when i setup the modem and every thing alright , i cant connect to internet althuogh the the red light of the modem is turn on ..
it said : erorr 721 the remot computer did not respond for further assistanc click mor information ........... etc
so plz i wanna help if u can
we had a thunderstorm and thought that lightening zapped our modem. We have had two of the same type sent to us from BellSouth. Go through the steps to install. Get red light Computer is not recognizing modem. Bellsouth says its the computer. Computer tech says its the modem. Computer is only two months old. Tried everything.
