Top sray arm is not moving on my bosch Model #: SHE43P05UC dishwasher

Either the delivery pipe to the top spray arm is blocked or end of arm is split or the spray arm holes are blocked.Check for physical obstructions around the arm.I take it that the bottom arm is ok.The other problem could be a fault at the main wash pump.

Hope this helps.

The DVD door only closes part way because it is hitting the part with the laser that slides forward and lifts to match the spinner on the top of the frame. I think it is supposed to slide over it before...

I twisted and pried until I got the door/disk carrier out of the case. It appears the the teeth on the left side of the door and the teeth on the gear that moved it as well as a white strip of plastic with an upright pin and teeth on the front edge which moved it from left to right were out of sequence. The strip was moving too soon and causing the motor and laser to lift before the disk was in place. The disk carrier was blocked by the spin mechanism which had raised and was up against the piece that the disk should be under.

To fix it, I set the DVD player to "open". Then I put a long narrow strip of masking tape on one side of the teeth of the gear that was supposed to open and close the door.

I pushed the moving strip with the pin as far to the left as it would go and put another narrow strip of tape on the top of it to keep it from moving while I pushed the door back in place. The ends of both pieces of tape extended out the opening and were stuck to the face of the cabinet.

I pushed the door into the frame, pulling up a bit in the center to get it to go through the guides and track. When I got it pushed all the way in I started easing the tape off the gear, pulling on the part outside the door and reaching through the hole where a disk would set to loosen the end of the tape on the gear with a mini screwdriver. I did the same thing with the tape I had put on the strip with the pin.

Then I used the "open/close" function to test it and it worked like a charm. The door guides do not hold the very tight and it tends to wiggle and lean to the left when open.

I also found a really good video by a guy on UTube. It was not my brand of player, but his explanation and demonstration gave me enough info about how to get the door out, without destroying it, so I went at it.

My methods are a little unorthodox, but they worked without tearing the entire thing apart. I couldn't figure out how to get the motor/laser out anyway.

Good luck with yours.

Water leakage from the door

Check your spray arm that nothing got stuck in its holes. make sure the spray arm is turning all the time when using the machine :
put the spray arm in 90 degree position, turn the unit on , open the door after few min check that the spray arm move...
make sure your seal of the door is clean and nothing prevent it to close evenly the door...

It is filling and running but the water is not

Could be two different things -- either the pump is not moving water through the sprayer arm, or the sprayer arm isn't free to spin around.
I've fixed one of each in the past year, so either is reasonable.

First, check the easy one -- the sprayer arm.
Open the dishwasher and pull the bottom tray forward so you can reach the sprayer arm.
Reach in and try to spin it around by hand. It should move freely, and if you flick it around, it should spin a full turn around before stopping.
If it's unable to move at all, then look for something stuck like a fork or plastic bag.
If it moves, but very quickly stops spinning, it might be a foreign object or it might need a new sprayer arm assembly. The one I got this year was $38 including shipping.

If the sprayer arm is free and easy to move, then check the water pump:
Start the dishwasher and listen. When it's done filling and sounds like the wash cycle, quickly unlock and open the door.
It shouldn't spray water in your face, but there should be lots of water dripping from the racks and the top (and the dishes, if it's loaded when you do this test!)

If not, then the problem is either a failed main pump or a blocked pump, and the repair will be a bit more money and a lot more time.

If this helps, be sure to click the thumbs-up to tell me so!

Automatic sliding doors

My door also had the same problem: It would only open a few inches, then it would stop. Moving it manually one more inch and trying again would make it go all the way. In my case, this was due to the wire harness being bent in a certain way right at that point (and the wires being broken there).

First make sure that the door moves smoothly over the location where it stops by moving it manually. If it's hung up on something, try to find it. In my case the door itself moves very smoothly all along the path with just a finger (or two) pushing it.

I took two screws off the top plate of the arm where the motor in the door meets the frame (bottom of door). I then took this plastic arm cover off. I could then see the wire harness and the gear. Now, make sure there's nothing major wrapped around the gear; next, see if you can get the door to start moving by pressing the button at the same time as you wiggle the wire harness. If the door starts to go, then it's likely a bad wireing harness.
I took the wiring harness out of the arm and moved it below the arm instead of within it. Now it works just fine (the harness doesn't bend in the same bad way anymore). However, I anticipate having to buy a new wiring harness to fix it for good.

Dishwasher runs doesn't clean

If your machine has the collapsible tower in the center of the bottom spray arm, it may not be operating properly. While the machine is running, quickly open the door to determine if the tower has popped up. (You might see it collapsing when door first opens.) If it pops up, it may not be sitting straight, which means the water is then not shooting up to the funnel of the arm located under the upper rack. (Your upper dishes will certainly not be cleaned well if this is the case, even if there is enough water to wet them.) Now open the door after running the machine 15 seconds to determine if the arms are moving. If upper arm is not rotating, you can be sure there is not sufficient water feeding into it. If the lower arm is also not moving, you likely don't have enough water in the machine to begin with. After about 5 yrs, the hot water can expand something inside the water intake valve (a washer?) which then blocks the flow of water. This was our problem and was very easily replaced.
