Re: Connecting computer to tv
This answer is pretty late but all u need is an HDMI cable to make the connection. You can also use a projector cable to make the same connection but plugged in a diferrent port at the back or your TV. If your computer doesn't have an HDMI port u can still use the VGA(projector cable) to make the connection

The LCD TV does not have the software installed on it to integrate with the Pen drive. That is why. Pen drives are meant for input and output of data via computers with USB ports. The pieces of software required to make a computer recognize and interact with a Pen drive (or indeed any other external flash, solid state or hard disk drive based external storage devices) are USB and Storage Device Drivers built-into a computer's Operating System. Your TV does not have such drivers installed on it because it does not have an internal Storage Device to interact with external storage devices. Your notebook can connect to the LCD TVs VGA Port by connecting a VGA Cable from the Port to the Notebooks own VGA Port -> press and hold the Fn key bottom left of the keyboard -> press the Function key at the top of the keyboard bearing the image of two monitors -> release both keys -> use the TV's remote to select Menu -> Input/Source -> PC.
If your TV has RCA jacks on the back or front. Input type. Then you can go to radio shack and get a vga cable to RCA jack converter. That is all you can do. Is the TV a flat screen if yes then you can hook up you pc with a monitor cable like your usine now in your house. Find out the type of TV.. Ask someone to check the tv for a computer port on the back.
you need do
1) set your TV interface to PC port
2) connect the cable (you are sure it is a good condition) between laptop and TV
3) power on laptop boot system and then hold Fn and click F5(screen change), maybe click 1 or 2 times if you see LCD black and then next to TV screen.
hope help you do it well
Hi there You will need a HDMI cable, that is of course if the laptop has HDMI out and that the TV supports HDMI. This is the only way you will be able to experience the full Blue-ray HD experience through the LCD TV.
Hi i have only connected my laptop to the tv a few times. i did it through a scart lead connecting to the s-video-out socket on my laptop. then i when to display propertise , settings then selected screen 2, then extened to desktop monitor. it worked. i then opened a film in my player, dragged it accross, went full screen job done. hope this helps...
There are a number of possible ways to getbthe display up onto your television. Im not certain which colours to use with which but once its all plugged in you will need to hold down the FN (funtion) key and press one of the F1-F12 buttons. to work out which one you just need to look for a button that looks like a screen or two screens and that should make the display external. good luck
