how do you go into bios

  • njsmom Dec 23, 2008

i added memory and replaced the hard drive. I went into the bios and it recognizes the new memory and hd.
I also changed the boot order to: cd / hd / external device / network.
    This did not help.
Does this mean it is the motherboard?
    Any other suggestions?
    Thanks...

Hey you try this.
Enter into BIOS, Disable SATA Support, if problem persists, change your Hard Disk, that is crashed. I had the same problem last month.

Your computer is set to boot from the network (PXE = Netboot).

Boot failure

y first guess is that something is wrong with your motherboard. Start with checking that. Then if that is ok, check your hard drive because it may have gotten corrupt or even crashed. If that is ok, try reformatting your hard drive and reinstalling your operating system. Hope this helps.
