I had a brief (2 sec.) power outage this morning. When I went to use my F380
this afternoon it would not power up.
I un-plugged it from the wall and waited 10-15 minutes. I plugged it back in and now its back to normal.
It must have some kind of protection circuit built in or something.

Hi there,

The Printer unable to turn on could be of two reasons.

(1) Connect the Printer directly to the wall outlet instead of connecting through the power surge protector (If connected through surge protector).
(2) Check whether the Power adapter is getting warmed up after connecting to a particular wall outlet.
(3) Try connecting the printer to any other wall outlet and check for the results.

Hope this information would help you in this regard.

With regards,
Ashesburn.

I wish to buy a new POWER SUPPLY for HP Deskjet F380.

Why do you want to buy it? What happened to the old one?

Power supply is very expensive when you compare it with the rate of F380 look alike printer. So do check new printers also before you go for new supply.

I just refilled my ink cartridges and for some reason the printer still flashes no ink, any ideas?

  1. Press the On (c00636182.gif ) button to turn off the unit.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the unit.
  3. Connect the power cord to the back of the unit.
  4. Press the On (c00636182.gif ) button to turn on the unit.and hold it down 10 se
this are the usual procedure..some do it by actually power off ..disconnect power cord..hold down the button ..and connect power cord with the button pressed..and after it powers..release the button ..try it both way s..the issue is that you probably used refilled cartridges and it needs to reset the counters..

HP deskjet F380 - 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam!

Unplug the power cord and while doing that make sure printer is powered on i mean do not turn off the printer using the power button. When you unplug the power cord than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Than release the power button and connect the power cord and then try to print.

F380 not printing on mac reason: hp aio print2 pde plug-in

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

I have experienced this before...
Disconnect the printer and remove the installed drivers, that is to remove the virus-infected file or a corrupt printer driver.

Now re-install the printer and the driver.

Fixya me on this one...
