A CD may have gotten stuck moving from its slot to the play mechanism or while returning to its slot. If repeatedly pushing the reset button does not restore operation or make it possible to pop out the magazine, you may be in for a difficult task of removing the magazine manually but the stuck disc has to get unstuck first

CD will start and then stops playing - cannot use laser cleaner

The laser pickup head that has the ribbon cable attached has become defective and is intermittent. Unfortuneately the cable is hard wired making service out of the question, far cheaper to replace CD player.

Technics SL-MC60 error message: "Take out"

Hello
If a disc has been put in the slot of the disc in play, Remove the disc, whose number is displayed, and press stop button.
Because of light or noise, the changer has detected a disc in the lot of the disc being played, even though it is empty. Check whether there is a disc in the displayed slot. With front panel closed, hold down "STOP " button for atl least four seconds or more.

We have a Technika copact disc player model no 88205 which we currently use to play music to customers when they are put on hold. How can I set it to contually loop and not stop as at the moment it stops...

HELLO

On your player there should be a REPEAT button. If you press it once it will keep playing one track, if you press it twice there should be REPEAT ALL on the display or something similar.

This is pretty much standard for all CD players, I would be very surprised if there was not a feature like that on yours!

My Technics SL-DV290 stereo has stopped playing dvd/cds, it just says 'no read' when it initially scans dvd/cd prior to play Please help!

This means that the unit can tell that a disc is present, but can not read it. Try opening up the top and cleaning the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. Let us know if that resolves the problem.
Thanks,
Dan
