- Thank you for the reply, I tried your suggestion which did not fix the issue I thought I had. Come to find out, the keys DO respond, if you hold them down for approximately one second. I got on the phone with Dell Tech support and we have determined that it is a windows software issue because the keyboard responded as it should during a boot-up diagnostic. I am in the process of backing up my hard drive and reinstalling the OS per Dell tech support to see if that remedies the issue. Thanks again.
It seems that u have Multimedia KeyBoard what u have to do is just unistall the keyboard driver and restart the system then reinstall the keyboard driver it will solve u r problem.
