Sonic Media Player destination drive is unavailavle for burning CD's, etc
My Sonic Media Player destination drive is unavailable. Cannot detect Dvd-RAM destination drive or any other destination drive. No longer available for Burning copying, etc. Also, when I am in Sonic Media Player, a pop-up appears on desktop saying somthing like virtual call error. It wants me to end the program. What can I do?

If you are trying to use the Itunes software to see your t-sonic player it will not work, Itunes is only for apple media players nothing else. Now if your computer itself does not see your player, make sure you have the correct drivers for it, did your player come with it's own cd to load it's drivers and or software so your computer can see it?
I have gone through the same issue in past. It all starts when you have installed a new cd/dvd burning software on your computer. All you need to do is uninstall Sonic and iTunes and re-install them so that they take all default settings that has been changed by Nero. In my case it worked like a charm.
Try uninstalling Roxio and the Sonic drives and run Fixit. Then reboot and install Roxio first then the Sonic driver.
If this doesn't work uninstall again as previously, install Roxio and check the CD/DVD if necessary run Fixit then install Sonic driver.
1. Your laptop cd/dvd drive have what capability:
- cd writer = only burn cd
- cd writer/dvd reader(combo) = still only burn cd
- dvd writer = can burn cd, dvd single layer(4GB)
- dvd DL writer = can burn cd and dvd single 4GB and dual layer 8GB.
Other than those, is not possible.
2. Must have burn apps named:
- Alcohol 120%
- other. search internet.
If you have them then using the apps to burn, just read the manual.
Koam114 is in Korean. I don't understand :)
But If you want songs from website, you should download it first.
Unless the site is giving you a step by step how to burn songs directly to your cd/dvd.
Once downloaded, would be easier to burn to cd/dvd.
Sometimes you need to have a burning software like nero or roxio, if you want to get music from an audio cd you can use rip by going to the windows media player but if not tell me what kind of software you are using for copying.
I am asuming your using XP, this happened to me a few years ago, i searched google and found a forum that had instructions on editing a registry key to fix the problem but i wasn't able to see the drives in the device manager at all, so check that first and make sure they are there and try reinstalling the device drivers, using windows update or manually search for newest version of the drivers, if all that fails try reinstalling the applications your having issues with, if that fails you can try getting another application to replace the ones that aren't working, try alcohol 120% or Nero, those are about the best out especially a120 however it would require a purchase.
