I have a blinking red light at power button where if I try to power up the TV nothing happens, I don't here that 'click' as I've heard it all the time, it only stays lit for a few seconds and then it starts blinking again. I had this occurred in the past and I've replaced 2 fuses F852(2.0A) and F850 (5.0A) and it worked for a year or so. I checked those 2 fuses again and certainly the 5A was indeed gone and the 2A only half gone but died on me when I kipped the Ohmmeter on it. I have replaced them 2 fuses and and they blew as soon as i plugged the TV in. Both instances happened after a power blackout.
Is there anything else I could do to fix this thing? Anticipated thanks Nick
I have the same thing going on with mine. What it is the SLR main Reg. is bad. The only way you can fix it is you can't put just one part in it you have to replace one of the boards. When you open the back panel up you will see three boards in a roll the one that needs replacing is the power board you have to get the model number. My Tv is a 65 HD model 65h81 the board on mine has a part number of PD 7400 yours will have something like that. Well let me know how it's goes my E-Mail is email@example.com

I don't think is any lamps.
If you are handy try to open the back of your tv, (unplug it first) don't touch anything just yet, you need to make sure you discharge any static left on the power board (the first from your left )Unplug power cord from the board. Take a heavy long screwdriver (Isolated) and lightly, touch a few parts on the board including the thick red wires that go to the lamps. Once that's done its time to put your dexterity at work. You need to lift that board (PD 0074) so that you can check some fuses like F850, F852, etc. for continuity. Mine were out. I had replaced those two and I had tv for another year. Remove the screws that hold the board. Now, this board PD0074 is connected to the next board by two white connectors and one blue. ....lift them up from one side with your finger nail. Don't unplug anything from the power board, just loose some wires so that you can lift the whole board on one edge. Get a voltmeter and set it to check continuity. Mine has a buzz. Look for them fuses if they are bad , ....replace them. (You can buy them at Partstore.com.....punch in "fuses"or "125V 2A")
In my case that was the only problem a year ago. Now I also have the same problem but this trick didn't work for me anymore. The Power Co,. messed me up big this time. In fact the problem with these Toshiba rear proj. is that when the power in your house goes out and comes back right a way in a split second and you don't have a power regulator, guess what : 'red led blinking'
In my case this time the whole power went on and off a few times within 10 sec. and by the time I got to the TV to unplug, it was to late. I think I have to replace the whole PD0074 board....and that's expensive.
