Its been working ok but i fumbled and maybe pressed wrong button but now when i press number 5 for the answer phone it gives one bleep instead of two and the screen says "OFF" -i cant find my manual to reset things ---appreciate your help --many thanks Sam

To set the no. of rings for a Uniden D1680 or similar, try this:
1. Press [menu]
2. Scroll down to 'Answ Setup', press [select] or [ok]
3. Scroll down to 'Ring Time', press [select] or [ok]
4. Scroll down to highlight your choice, '2 Rings', '4 Rings', etc.
press [select] or [ok]
5. Press [back] or [off]
Hold Menu (white circles button, left of R) "Phone Lst set" shows, Press OK, Use up / down to choose a location, enter phone number then press OK. Use C to clear the number if required. From your handset, you just have to press the mute button, your phone should start telling you the time, date, ect. press the #5 key and then the #8 key and start recording your message. When finished press the # 8 key again. Hope this helps
