Question about Frigidaire GLMV169D Microwave Oven
Microwave was being used, then sounded as if it was losing power, then shut off completely. No indication of any power at all. Checked breaker and circuit to microwave and have power up to those points. Problem is definitely with the microwave. Owners manual is useless. Offers no troubleshooting info at all.
I would suspect your magnetron overheated and blew its thermostat / thermal cutout or the HV transformer failed and blew the internal fuse.

Tips for a great answer:
I appreciate your inquiry, David!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire microwave shuts off and then will factory restart. It sounds like a possible problem with your control panel or a faulty wiring harness. I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional. They would need to properly disassemble your microwave and test each electrical component to pinpoint the problem within it. The technician has the appropriate tools needed to complete the repair without causing personal injury or any future issues with the microwave. Best of luck! -Matt
