CAN NOT GET TIMER TO SAY A.M.

I thought I had the clock set correctly and then did a program for this morning. It did not start - when I checked the program it was p.m. - I can not see a.m. even though I move through. How do I ge to a.m.

I just purchased it yesterday.

I did call Cuisinart and they told me to unplug the unit for at least a half hour. I did unplug it for an hour and then attemptedd to reset the clock and a program. It worked. Evidently, it becomes confused if you try too many attempts.

Cuisinart dgb900bc. Set timer to brew at 5 45. Have for many years. Last two nights at 5 45 clock goes to 12 00 AM. Does not come on automatically. Turn on manually and brews coffee as great as usual....

I would assume that the chip/timer unit has failed in the unit. Not sure you want to try to disassemble the coffee maker to get at it. Have you tried reversing the a.m. to p.m. (thus the clock would read 5:45 p.m. at 5:45 a.m.) settings and seeing if the machine would brew the coffee normally? (although I seriously doubt this will work, but...)

How to program dcf212t

If you're talking about the timer, first make sure your time is set correctly by holding down the "set clock" button until the proper time appears. make sure it's correct for am or PM. Then hold down the "set timer" button until the time appears that you want it to turn on. Again, ensure it's AM or PM. Then push the "on auto" button twice, so the light is green. You're done.

I need an instruction booklet to set the timer for the coffee.

Go to Hamilton Beach dot com, pull down customer suppot menu, click on use and care guides, type in product and model number, click send and your manual will load. Print it out so you have it. Setting the timer is a piece of cake, Hold down the program button until the clock flashes. While still holding the program button down, set the timer for whatever time you want the pot to perk. Let go of the program button. To check if the timer is set right right, puch the prigram button just long enough to see what time it is set for. If it's right, prepare the pot the night before, push the program button to set and forget about it. It will perk at the time you set every morning. Katherine

Coffee maker timer does not keep the heat plate on after 10 mins.

I was able to fix my little problem. I unplugged my coffe maker and waited 'bout 10 mins for the whole thing to shut down. Once the clock shut off, I reset the time. Secondly, I pressed the on/off button and held it in for 2 seconds until the red light started flashing. I set H to 1 and M to 59(I have never seen this before). anyhoo, afterthat, I set the timer to the exact time I wanted to smell my freshly brewed coffee. This morning, the red light seemed to stay on and kept my coffee nice and hot.
