I don't think it has a microphone and isn't capable of recording sound.

(I got my Concord 3346z several years ago, so they could have changed it)

The problem of my camera is that no sound appear when i record a video..how can i solve this problem, thanks.

Hi music_divina ,

This could be due to the fact that you have a digital camera without an inbuilt microphone in it.

Usually camcorders do have in built microphone so that you can record sound as well as video simultaneously, whereas digital cameras are meant for high quality pictures , rather than videos.

So if you want to record good quality video along with audio , I would recommend you to get a camcorder.

If you have a webcam and you want to record audio along with video , then you can easily do it by using the microphone which is to be inserted in the mic slot just besides the speaker's slot with a microphone icon near it.

All you need to do is select the video recording source as your webcam and audio recording source as your microphone and there you go , you have the recording with audio.

Hope this helps ...:)

My Canon SD1300IS has no sound with the video. I just bought it yesterday. It is not on mute

Many of these cameras made primarily for still photography but with an ability to take video clips do not record sound. They don't have a microphone. If yours does have the ability to record sound with the video, I would suggest that the problem is on playback, especially if you are playing it on a computer. There are numerous issues with computer sound, but most can be solved with a capable video player program. I like GOM, downloadable free from the internet (try www.download.com).

My Vivitar Vivicam 5024 Does Not Record Sound when I record Video. Is there a reason for that or a way to solve it?

There is a reason, and it's not one you're going to like. The ViviCam simply does not record sound with its video, lacking a microphone. It was designed as a still camera, with a few additional capabilities grafted on.

No sound on my video Kodak M340....

Your camera has a speaker and microphone.

When recording please make sure you're not covering the microphone.

If the sound is playing on the camera and on other devices.
I suspect it might be your speakers on the computer.

Video playing in fast forward with no sound

This is a really simple problem and easy to solve.  Unfortunately the videos you've recorded cannot be changed back because they have been recorded in Time Lapse mode.
With the camera switched on in Video Mode turn the control dial on the back (this is the dial to the right of the LCD screen).  This will change the settings from TIME LAPSE to STANDARD.  There are actually 6 different modes but the best one for normal videos is STANDARD.  There is a HIGH RESOLUTION setting,  however these record fewer frames per second (fps) so whilst the quality is better per frame,  there are half the amount of fps so the the movie will look at bit jerky.
It's really easy to accidentally twist the dial when holding the camera,  so always check the icon in the top right of the LCD before recording to make sure its just a yellow camera in a yellow square.
This should be problem solved for all future recording.

Videos Don't Download Completely

I've had this problem before. I don't know what format Sony records their movies in but it's probably MPEG4 or Divx.

Goto to Divx.com and download the Dvix Codec and player. See it that solves that problem.
