2003 saturn vue 2.2l 4cyl. code P1516, SES and reduced power light on. What is causing ETC fuse to blow.

P1516 Electronic Throttle Mod Throttle Pos This is the code for the TPS switch you changed the ETC should be for the cooling sys. It could be a short inside the temp sw. itself or a bad wire see if you can run a wire from the battery to the cooling fans and see if they run ok. if so I would change the etc switch as it doesn't cost that much and go from there. The limp home mode is probably caused by overheating at this point. Reset the ecm and see if it comes back after you change the etc switch. Hope this helps.

Kenmore sewing machine model 158 17600 the machine won't turn on. I just used it last week with no problem. Does it hava a fuse? Neither the motor or the light will turn on. I plugged it in

I had this happen to me once with a new computer machine. LOL I had plugged it into a socket that was attached to the light switch. If your house has such a thing... flip on the switch. ;)

My Bernina Activa 220 won't turn on. This has happened before, and I've always tried plugging/unplugging, switching outlets, etc. In the past something has eventually "worked" and once...

Could be almost anything ! Do the usual simple checks - fuse in the mains plug (should be 3A), have you got another piece of equipment (radio etc.) that uses the same 2-pin plug for power - use it to check that the mains cable is OK. If the mains cable is OK, it maight be the switch on the power supply module or the power supply module itself ('L'-print), but could be more ... check if the sewing light or display backlight is coming on, but if completely dead, your only solution is to get it checked-out by a Bernina service agent.

My 1997 Nissan Quest wont start. I don't hear any clicking or anything when I turn the key. The lights and power windows work fine. Tried jump starting the van but same result. Does this sound like a...

My guess would be a switch (park interlock, brake interlock, etc.), a main fuse (located under the hood), or a starter solenoid. One easy check is to turn the key to start and simultaneously wiggle the shifter or pull it in to the Neutral position.

Good luck.

No power going to LG 42 inch plasma, tried changing fuse in plug and tried a different power lead and still nothing (no standby light etc)

since you have change the fuse in plug, this indicate that your plug is okay, the likely problem is from the television which will require you to open the television to check for fuses, bulged capacitors, but if otherwise your power supply is dead.It can be dead at anytimes.Tries websites, to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
Hope this help.....

check fuses. If fuses are good use a voltmeter at the connections to see if you are getting power. If you are not then you will have to run down a short in the wire.

If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these:

No power
Lid switch
No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?

Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.
