Zanussi TC7114W condenser Drier

I'm having problems working out how to put the figure of eight on the belt. once we have solved how to do that, we can put the drum back..any help please?

    same problem belt snapped and cant quit figure how to get back on without stipping the circlip off at the back on the centre drum spindle and then working the belt over the drum b4 stretching over the idler tension wheel and drive of motor !!!!

Belts do not figure 8
they look something like this
Zanussi TC7114W condenser Drier - f6516ed.jpg the front panel comes off, to access the drum without removing bearings etc, and the belt can be placed easily, around the drum and motor pulley.
then pull the tensioner hard against its spring, loop the belt around the tensioner and allow the spring to tension the belt.

Did you locate the "tensioner" wheel that may have jumped out of the mounting hole...??

There are two wheels, one on the motor and one on the tensioner...

My zannussi TD4113W tumble drier has stopped tumbling .It still is heating up ok .Can I fix it ?

it sounds like the belt has broken or the motor has burned out try starting there

Belt work

take the bolts out and put the new belt around the tube then motor and you should be hooked up

Zanussi condenser drier: tank full light on even though empty

its either going to be fluff in the float which you can get at by taken the side panel off .or its fluff in the valve behind the water tank

Replaced my zanussi tc-481w drier belt but it still won't work

My tumble drier no longer condenses! Water comes out the middle of the machine.

Hi LesleyB, I have just read your question on Fixya .com and I have the same problem with my dryer. I know your question was raised some time ago with no answer on Fixya...but I was wondering if you ever got to the bottom of the problem? Like I say I have the same model here in the UK and cannot find anyone who knows what the problem is (without charging me the earth to come look!) Hope you can help...Thanks Simon B, Manchester...UK
