Handspring visor (organiser)

handspring visor (organiser) has droped on the floor, the screen had cracked, I could see the written messsages, but can't open it as no coser, so i can't put my password.
I thought if i take off the glass on the top of the screen i might be able to touch the screen itself and can write the passward.
Tried to remove the glass, unfortunately broke the screen itself....
is there any solution to make me able to transfare my information to my pc? as if i put it on the cradle doesn't work as it still need the password
