### If the diameter is 16 and the radius is 8 what do you do next?????

I am assuming you are looking for the most usual answer required by the measurements given.the simplest one is to find out the area of a circle once you know it's radius.
the formula is Pi x radius (squared) Pi is always constant so
3.1417 x 8 to the power of 2 OR 3.1417 x 8 x 8= 201.6 square inches.

To set a flush right tab:
(1) Position the carrier (or cursor) at the point where you want a flush right tab to be set.

(2) Hold down the Code key and press the Tab set/clear key.

To use a flush right tab:
(1) Press the Tab/back tab key to move the carrier (or cursor) to the flush right tab position.
(2) Type the text. Characters will appear on the display as they are typed. Corrections can be made on the display before the text is printed.
(3) Press the Print key. The text is printed aligned with the flush right tab position.

### Starting to get a get dark ghost on right of screen looks like a cloudmother says happed from use of the dvd

what you are describing sounds like a bad LCD panel tab. Does the problem clear up if you tap the top or right side of the TV set? If tapping the set clears up the problem, you have a bad LCD panel tab on the right side of the set. The only true fix in that was would be to replace the panel.

### The left side of the screen is very dark when we first turn the TV on. You can see faint images. The right side is fine. The left side clears after the set has been on awhile.

Please include make and model of your unit. This will help in diagnosing your problem. Sounds like you have a Tab Bond issue. That would be where the IC has lost a good ground connection on the heat shield.

### Radian mode does not work properly

-1E-13 is a very small number. When doing this kind of a problem you can regard 1E-13 as 0.

Remember that pi is an irrational number. It is only estimated on your calculator. I just played around with a TI-83 and found the following answers:

cos(pi/2) = 0
cos(2*pi + pi/2) = 0
cos(4*pi + pi/2) = 1E-13
cos(20*pi + pi/2) = -1E-13

As you know, that correct answer to each of these is 0. The calculator gives non-zero answers because some very small errors are accumulating. There is nothing wrong with your calculator.
