Problem with Nortel WLan handset 2210


My company using Nortel WLan handset 2210 and the Nortel Signaling Server 1000.Two of our handset shows the same Extantation No.
How can I solve this problem ?, please help me with all necessary commands.

You do not have to drop all programming.

In CS1000 CLI.

LD 11

PRT
DNB

when asked for the DN enter the extension number.

If there are two TNs listed for the same extension then you will have to change on of them.

CHG
TNB
2210
<TN of phone to be changed>
then follow prompts to change KEY 0 to a new extension number

Must drop the whole programing and start from scratch. it called dumping.

I have a nortel 1120e but I have a problem. When I make a call I can not hear the other person but they can hear me my. How can I fix it?


I'm not familiar with this particular phone, but our Nortel system phones sometime act up. The trouble is almost always the cord or handset, especially if the phone is wall-mounted and the handset has taken a dive or two to the floor. On rare occasions we've had a phone go bad, but not often.

Try another cord first, then swap handsets with another phone if you can. That will probably solve the trouble.

Server unreachable


go to menu --> settings --> network configuration --> server menu and scroll down to server address and give the server ip address and save the settings and reboot

Handset does not work, only handsfree, how to reset on T7208


Check the bottom of the set, and make sure that the handset is plugged into the handset - not - handset to the headset jack.

Make sure that the cords that attach the handset are all plugged in.

Take someone elses handset and test to see if it the set or maybe you have a bad handset issue.

Directory key = "no application available", need to store phone #


You need to configure your CS 1000 for Personal Directory / Redial List / Callers List through Element Manager. Instructions for doing this are in the IP Line Fundamentals NTP. You can download the NTP from www.nortel.com/support.

1140E phone upgrade


C1B is ancient UNIStim firmware. You cannot downgrade to it. Try converting to a more recent UNIStim version. You can download firmware from www.nortel.com/support.

Nortel IP Phones I2004 and 1140e lose connectivity

This could be the problem with your signaling server , have you checked it ??
I think it is losing connectivity of T-Lan Network.
