Every time I turn off my radio, my radio presets are gone. Sometimes it also has trouble autoscanning presets as well and comes up with nothing. This problem has only occured recently, about a year after it was working fine.

Toyota vehicles have a fuse in the kick for the amp and sometimes there is located under the hood ... This is the switch turn on for the amp ... And 1 of the fuses is most likely the memory or constant power. B sure to check all fuses ... I do not have AllData pulled up . If the fuses are all good the amp or radio may be bad ... Or both ... Be sure to check all the fuses ... Many times I get clients that say allthe fuses are good and it is still the first thing I check ..Usually is a fuse ..Good Luck

if this is not the original radio, then the wiring is wrong on your replacement. With the replacement radio, theres a wire that needs to be connected to Battery (+). this keeps presets and clock from losing memory
if the radio requires a code make sure you know it... unplug the battery for about 10 minutes or so.... hook it back up and turn on the radio... set your presets again and it should be fine.... it does sound like the battery power to it is being interupted tho.
be sure when setting presets you hold the button down for at least 3 seconds to set the channel, if you are doing this correctly, you may have a blown back up fuse under the hood. there are 2 fuses for the radio one is marked radio and is inside the fuse pannel on the inside of the car the other is for memory back up and located in fuse box under hood may be marked B/U just check them all to be sure!
the problem is your ignition and your permanant battery live wires are the wrong way round all you have to do is remove the stereo and you will usually see a red wire plug into another red wire and a yellow wire into another yellow wire all you have to do is change the red to the yellow and the yellow to the red and it will hold the memories fine hope that helps !
you kind of dont mate sorry. press the option button and hit 'autoscan' it then finds all usable radio signals and presets them. from there you use the normal song controls to switch between presets. also after you have the presets set, you can go to the options manu of a preset again and then name it.
