Look inside the lens while the set is on. If you see things floating around inside the glass, the fluid will need to be changed inside of each tube. I will post a link on how this is done if this is a Magnavox TV set. Good luck

How to clean fan with dust

Use a 1" paintbrush and a vacuum cleaner hose. Then use a compressed air can to clear the fins on the heatsink also with the suction. It is also better to remove the fan, clean the underside and then spray it with dry silicone spray.

The best way to clean dust from your PC fans and CPU cooler is to use compressed air. You can buy cans of compressed air from any electronics store or online. Before you start, make sure you turn off your PC and unplug it from the power source.

My TDP-P75 toshiba projector keeps cutting out for no reason - any advice anyone?

Hi, Cutting out after 5 minutes sounds like an overheat fault. On every projector will be a filter that is user serviceable - it will most likely be blocked up with lint. To Clean - locate the filter & remove carefully. gently brush the lint & dust off the surface of itusing a soft brush or vacuum cleaner on its lowest seting. Try not to puncture the filter element. reinstall.

Sounds like static electricity caused some damage somewhere...you never want to try to vacuum a TV or use a cloth or brush, only thing that is safe is air like is used to clean a keyboard...you damaged a board in the set, could be the main or tcon or both

How to clean the project television. There is a shadow

Hello
To clean the lens and mirrors of your projection tv follow up please.

Unplug the TV from the power supply. Never undertake any type of repairs on electric equipment without first disconnecting from power. Take care in handling any electric parts, as some may contain a residual charge that can shock you.

Remove screws from the back cover and connection area of the TV. Be sure to put them in a safe place, or on a piece of paper with notations for where each one fits in the television

Gently remove the back cover. Locate the mirror and three projection "guns," as these are what you want to clean eventually

Use a camera lens cleaning cloth (or other very soft and gentle cloth) to clean the mirror and lens. Gently remove any other dust before closing the TV.

Replace the back cover and screws. Plug back in the power supply

Turn on the television. Check to see that everything works correctly and that your picture is now clearer

Need to disassemble Mitsubishi VS-6041 60 in Rear Projection

Wow, You are asking for a complete disasemmbly. If this is necessary, you have to remove any screws you can find that are connected to the front panel. Usually they are in the top of the set ( you'll find them after removing the mirror panel and mirror ). I wouldn't remove any tubes as the tube convergence would have to be all reset and that would require a cross hair generator. I do hope this has helped in some way, but all I can do is send you my best wishes as I certainaly don't suggest disassembly if there is any other way. Good luck
