Does the engine keep running once you start it with gas or starter fluid, or does it stumble for a bit and then die again?

It definitely sounds like there's no fuel getting through. Try disconnecting the fuel line with the engine off and routing it to a container, then try starting the car and see if any fuel is flowing.

If it is, there is likely a wiring problem to the injectors, which could indicate the injector fuse is blown. You could try jumpering the positive wire from the injectors directly to the battery and try to start the engine (obviously with the fuel line hooked back up!)- the negative is switched by the engine computer.

If there is no fuel flow at all, then check the fuel pump fuse. Again, you can try jumpering a wire from the battery to the positive fuel pump terminal and see if that starts the engine.

If there is very little fuel flow, it is likely a restriction in the lines or a defective pump. I would check the fuel filter, and perhaps blow out the fuel lines with compressed air. If that doesn't help, or if there isn't any restriction, then it comes down to a bad pump.

How long I need to keep plug the back up battery to use to charge my phone?

Most manufacturers recommend an overnite charge, but the power you require to recharge a phone is very minimal, so I would recomend at least 4 hours, unless the battery back up is new then you can charge your phone while charging the battery back up for the full 12 hrs.

I have an APC ES-350 hooked up to a flat screen tv with amplifier and a radio. The tv and amplifier were on and all of a sudden there is a steady continual alarm coming from the ES-350. We've only had...

Yes there are replaceable batteries but if yours is only 6 months old and was new this should not be the problem. That said, batteries only have a certain lifespan from the date of manufacture. If it sat on a shelf for a long time before it was sold the battery could be junk.

Is the tone continuous? If so this is the overload alarm.

Found an APC UPS 350 in the garbage, seems to work, but I don't understand the difference between having the power button engaged or not because both ways it seems to power my devices.

you may have a defective switch that is on/off button and is not serviceable.
I suggest you purchase a new APC model and by pass the headache here unless this is a project. You will need to take this unit apart and then call the manufacturer for a new part that may or may not be available or the unit is discontinued.

Alarm sounds. I have had this unit more than 3 years so it cold be the battery I reset it and seems that it stop for the meantime. If sounds again is going to be the battery right?

Yes, The batteries on UPS units last about 3 years and then they need to be replaced. Your unit is beeping because it is telling you to replace it. If the battery is not replaced it can damage the UPS unit. A replacement battery only runs about $15-18 so it is worth the price to do it.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

APC Back-UPS ES 350 - when powered on has a blinking green light Is this normal

A blinking green light is likely an indication that the internal battery is nearing the end of its usable life cycle. If it's over 3 years old this is likely the case. To test, plug something in to the battery outlets and pull the plug of the UPS from the wall. If you get a short runtime (or none at all) it's the battery. Batteries are under $20 and can be found here:
