Question about Storage Controllers

Digital Picture Frame

I have a Quantaray Digital Photo Frame and cannot understand the manual regarding loading pictures. When I turn it on I get a green sign that says "Please Insert Card". I have it plugged into my computer but that doesn't seem to work. The manual tells me to hold down the exit button a few seconds to enter the setup menu, but holding it down doesn't do anything. I want to load photos on it - it's a gift I wanted to give tomorrow.

It does have a USB line and says "Connect the machine and a computer with a USB line, and the memory cards in this machine may transfer and save files/photos from the computer, vice versa.

This is not designed to plug into your computer. The device has no memory to store photos or music. You have to copy your photos onto a USB thumb drive or a NON SD memory card.

FLASH DRIVES - RESTORE & RECOVER DATA

Restore and Data Recovery on Flash Drive
Files on a flash drive can be corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon and then click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flash drive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the flash drive you need to format the flash drive, but you will lose the data stored on the flash drive.
If you need the data on the flash drive these WEB sites may help: -

I have a WD Elements 1tb. When I first got it, the device worked great. I placed just about all my pictures on it and then other day I went to use it and it will not work. It shows no drive, the light...

Connect it to a different computer, to see if the problem continues.
If so, then the WD Elements has two major components:
* the disk-drive inside the enclosure
* the USB-to-disk-drive adapter

Disassemble the enclosure, and extract the disk-drive, and directly connect it as a "slave" device in a desktop computer, and see if you can read the files.

As a last resort, search online for "data recovery services", which are commercial companies that will disassemble the disk-drive, and repair it just long-enough to copy your files. Not cheap, but if you REALLY need to get the pictures, it's your "last-hope".

How do i load pictures on the flash drive? never used one of these flashdrives before

Loading pictures from usb to computer

1. Put your flash drive into the usb port of your computer.
2. Click on Left Click on Start and Left click on My Computer.
3. There will be a new drive letter, more than likely E:\.
4. You can copy multiple copies or single copy by clicking on one
picture then you can hold down Control key and select the ones
you want to copy.
5. Leave the mouse on the last picture you selected, then right click,
and tell left click on copy.
6. Go to your local drive C:\ and if you want to make a new folder to be
organize, and click on that folder and right click and tell it paste.

I put 2 disks in raid 0 array on this controller

When you say "after merging the driver via a floppy at the txt setup" I think you are referring to pressing the F6 key to load the raid drivers. But I don't understand "restarting setup".
You will need the correct XP64bit drivers loaded on a floppy for this to work.
Maybe a good place to start is a temporary install of XP using 32bit drivers to prove all components are working.

Ps3 controller buttons are not working and can only move up and down on menu i dont understand why?

Hello my friend,
It's easy to troubleshoot this problem and find out the reason of that:
- Try with different Games. - Test all buttons on the controller while you are playing and when you are on the menu. - Plug the Controller to the second port.
If the problem is not fixed that means the controller is broken and you will need to replace it, you can get it for a cheap price online or in games stores.
Best Regards,

Drag and drop. open my computer and select source file, then click my computer again and select the memory stick ( you should have 2 open windows, best if minimilised ) then just drag and drop. Mouse over, left click and hold the left button drag the picture(s) to the stick and let go of the left button.
