Hi there and welcome at Fixya, the support team (lfete)

please be sure that you do not download only the preview of the songs, normally you need to purchase for the songs :O) BUT you can use theese programs fully legal to download songs to your computer and then transfer them :
http://www.remlapsoftware.com/clickster.htm
or
http://www.computerbild.de/download/Audials-One-Standard-Kostenlose-Spezial-Version-4317366.html

Both programs are free and legal

Hope it helps
IF NOT then try to return here

Have a nice time over there

We hooked it up to a usb but we cannot copy music to our mp3 player what do we need to add to our computer to do so we have windows media player and that is what we are trying to download some songs into...

open WMP (windows Media player)... import what songs/albums into WMP. connect your mp3 to you computer. WMP should recognize it if it is a sansa. Highlight what songs you want right click ...add.. to sync list. or you can make a sync list on the right hand side of the screen and drag and drop the songs you want on your mp3 player ... when you have the ones you want click on the sync button and those songs will xfr to the player

How doi get the files to go to my windos media player library?

GO TO THE FILE WERE YOUR E-MUSIC IS DOWN LOADED TO AND EACH SONG AND LAUNCH IT FROM THERE MAKE SURE YOUR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER IS SET AS YOUR DEFAULT PLAYER YOU CAN DO THAT BY RIGHT CLICKING ON EACH SONG AND CHECKING IT AFTER YOU LAUNCH THE SONG FROM THERE IT SHOULD PUT THAT SONG IN YOUR WMP LIBRARY AND ALSO USE WMP TO PLAY THE SONG YOU DONT HAVE TO PLAY THE FULL SONG JUST THE BEGINING OF IT,IF THAT DOES'NT WORK THEN CHECK YOUR WMP SETTING TO MAKE SURE THAT THE SONGS THAT YOU LAUNCH WITH WMP ARE AUTO ADDED TO YOUR LIBRARY

Sansa e260 won't accept songs

Hi Janworks4u. Question for you... Did your mp3 work fine with WMP 10? I ask because WMP 11 is known for causing problems w/mp3 players. You can try reverting to WMP 10 to see if that fixes your problem. To do this:

click START, click on CONTROL PANEL, ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS (look at the top center of the Add or Remove Programs box that pops up for a little square you can click on that says "show updates." Click that box and then scroll down to WMP 11. Click to change/remove. A box will pop up confirming that you will revert to WMP 10. NOTE THIS WILL NOTE DELETE ANYTHING FROM YOUR COMPUTER! All of your music that is in WMP 11 will still be there in WMP 10!

Now you can try to load your songs back on through WMP 10 and hopefully it'll work for you. Good luck!

My computer doesnt recognize my MP3

How to get rid of the "synchronize to continue music subscription" message if it just appears out of nowhere on your player- this fixed mine when it gave me that message:

delete the STORE.HDS file in the system/wmdrmpd directory of your sansa (optional)

import your protected songs into WMP, and resync your protected music (with WMP) in MTP mode

play a protected song and let it rebuild the store.hds file (you will experience severe lag for about 15 seconds as it rebuilds) and the music should play.

I got this from anythingbutipod.com

I just buy creative zen stone 1gb

Hey Sheikhea!

You won't need to download or install any programs if you have Windows Media Player on your computer. You can use other programs but WMP is probably the easiest!

  1. Plug in your MP3 player using the USB cord (should be in box)
  2. Open WMP
  3. (If your songs are already in Library skip this step). Click "File" (top left hand corner) then "Add to Library..." Click "OK" WMP will now find all music on your computer and add it to Library.
  4. If the internet is connected WMP will attempt to find song info such as title, artist, album etc. Otherwise right click on song and click "Edit"
  5. Click on "Sync" tab (top of player). A sidebar should appear with "Creative zen.. etc" written on the top.
  6. Drag songs into sidebar.
  7. Click "Start Sync"
  8. The songs will now download onto your MP3 player.
To organise your files into folders etc. go to "My Computer" then "Creative Zen etc" then "Music" and create folders (right click "create folder") copy, paste, and drag your songs in folders as you like.

You can now unplug you MP3 player and turn it on!

Please reply so I can know if this information was helpful or not and can help you further.

Happy MP3ing!

From Kat
