Re: 32 hd flat panel with built in dvd player, wont turn...
The most likely reason for the no picture might be the back light is gone and needs to be replaced, now as for the LED light blinking on different intervals is because its diagnosing it self unfortunately the user manual does not have any information on this part only by contacting the Phillips customer support you might get a better idea, but check your back light first it may just be that. Also try to check your Manufacturer warranty repair.

You want to hook up the cables to any of the VGA input sets. Red= right audio channel, White= left audio channel, Yellow= Video. Don't plug them into the sets that have Red, , Green, and blue inputs. Just the set with red, white and yellow. Now you won't get HD from this since it's not bluray or HD-DVD. Just be sure you select the corresponding input on the TV when you want to use the DVD player. For example, select input 1 from the on screen display if that's the one you plugged it into.
First try a hard reset. Just unplug the power cord for 4 hours or more; then try again. If the reset does not help it means the problem is hardware
failure and not software. Therefore, you will need a tech who can
diagnose the electrical circuits. The short circuit conditions could
be in any location within the 8 or 10 sections of the tv. Please Rate This !!
