I recently got an LCD screen to replace a cracked one in my Nokia. I just pried the casing open, disconnected everything, switched out the LCD, connected everything back and everything seemed really easy. The problem is that the LCD will show a backlight on the internal and external displays, but no characters or colors will show. Just white screen. I have undone and redone everything about ten times. It's not the LCD because I switched the cracked one back in and still had the same problem. Thanks for your help.

if the device is fully charged then the screen will need to be replaced this can be difficult to do at home but you can do it with tools made for cell phones and buying the lcd that is compatible for the device
Your best option is buy a junk one off ebay and replace LCD. LCD replacement is very straight forward, just remove the screws, pry the case apart and the rest will be easy. Use the one you buy off ebay and practice getting it apart.
HI fllow the step plz. open the uper body > open 4 screew > pick the protection plate > u see a jeck of display > plz open with carefully > place a new display > push the jeck tightly > place the protiton plate > put the screew > tight carefully > place the body. keep voteing THANKS.
On the front side of the phone above the camera eye you can carefully (either with your fingernail or a small screwdriver) pry the plastic apart. Once you have the top apart a little bit work your way down each side, once the top and sides are loose you can slide the cover up and off. Once open ther will be a green board around and over the lcd, remove two small connectors on the top and one small one on the bottom underneath the board. When the green board is off look on the sides of the LCD and you will see four points securing it into the phone, carefully pry out on each of these and you can then remove the LCD. Replacement is reverse. Good luck.
do one thing sir just open up the screws which is at the backside of the phone, and check out the connecter with the main chip of ur phone, if it is a lug out connecter than plug out the old one and plug the new one, with the screen as well there is are screws, which u can open up while changing the screen and than try, if u face any kind of problem while replacing it than consult with the NOKIA CARE.
