Question about Canon PowerShot A60 Digital Camera

Canon A60 I cannot for the life of me get an image on my LCD, whether I'm shooting or trying to replay. Can you please advise what to do?

    hi Guys.

    Thanks so much for your reply. I haven't responded as yet, because I'm STILL WAITING for the store from which I purchased it from, to contact Canon. They are trying to charge me a "look at" fee, which I am not going to pay, so as soon as I know where things stand, I will let you know.

First check the DISP button to see if you accidentally hit it. If that's not the problem, take a picture with the camera and download it to your PC. If the picture is also black, then the problem is probably a defective CCD imager. Don't fret, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. Canon PowerShot A60~~~Viewing screen black/fuzzy won't take pict.

Its problem of bad ccd imager in Canon A60 camera and this part need to be replaced to get correct live view to take snap.

Deleting photos from your Canon PowerShot A60


You can download a manual (Camera User Guide) here.

1. To erase an image from the memory card, in Replay mode scroll until you see the image you want to erase on the LCD.
2. Press the Func button (this is also the erase button).
3. You will see two options, "Cancel" or "Erase"
4. Use the right arrow key to highlight "Erase"
5. Press the Set button (first button below the LCD)

your problem isinternal circuit fault the recording section is not working. which is not giving any signal to LCD . you nee dto give itr in service centre. fault may also come in change over switch which is not giving connection to LCD. Sangita
