Question about Abit LG-95Z Motherboard

1 Answer

Nothing Happens...period I have started the road to building a second PC, and got stopped at the first intersection. Here is what I have so far. I wanted to check the BIOS on my new ABIT LG-95 motherboard, so I installed the Intel Core 2 Duo E4400, the DDR2-667 240 pin RAM, and the 400W 12V1 power supply, the key board, the monitor..... and nothing. Did I miss anything?

Thank you for the post. Unfortunately, I have tried everything except the 24 pin power supply. The power supply I have is a 20 pin. I'm going to try a different power supply and some different RAM and see what happens. I'll let you know.

Did you install the 8 brass needed stand-off's & screwed the board down. Nothing underneth the board can touch the case back. I don't see a mention of the 24Pin power cable to ATX1. Check the cmos jumper pg.1-6 of the manual. It should be on Pin 1&2, & not 2&3. Check Red switch on PSU make sure it is set to 115v. You have memory. I gather 1 Dimm but if you have 2 pull one & try. Try the other dimm slot. The last thing I can think of would be the three wire CPU fan & thermal grease over the CPU & God forbid a broken pin somewhere on the CPU.
Good hunting & best hopes.

Start with the throttle body. I use brake clean and a toothbrush. Clean the plate and were it sits. Wouldn't hurt to spray down the MAF sensor, if it has one. Once you do it, it will take a few seconds to start. Once started, rev it up and spray inside the throttle. Keep it running. Most times this is a $4 fix.

What would cause an outdoor air conditioner unit to be encased in white Ice?

Happens all the time. This happens when the humidity is high for extended periods of time. The condensation builds up and freezes the unit. If it gets to far along you will be without AC until it thaws. Line insulators will help with this.

When I try to find Intercept on my graph I : [2nd]Trace [Enter] (for first curve) [Enter] (for second curve) but nothing happens. It still asks me for second curve. I move the point to diffrent...

There seems to be a confusion between two terms: intersection of two curves and y-intercept, or x-intercept.
When you press [2nd][TRACE] you are accessing the CALCulations menu for the graphics. The [1:calculate ] sub-menu gives the value of y for a given value of x. The first curve taken is the one in Y1=. If you want to find the value of y on a second curve for the same value of x, you use the Up Arrow or Down Arrow. (Use Up Arrow or Down Arrow to cycle through the curves.)
The sub-menu [5:Intersect] allows you to find a point where two curves intersect (cut one another). The calculator starts on the first curve (Y1=) and asks you to select the second curve. At this point you use the Up or Down arrow to jump tho the next curve. Then you will be asked for a guess.
First, know what you want and do not confuse interCEPT with interSECT

I have the same problem. I was thinking that the water line is frozen. I unplugged it for a couple of hours, plugged it back in and water started trickling out. I'm going to adjust the temperature in the freezer so it is not so cold. Maybe that will help too. Thats about as far as I have gone for troubleshooting so far.
