Nokia 2118 language setting

you first go to the menu, then settings ( on my phone the bottom right, an icon that looks like gears coming out of a folder). Go down ten spaces to phone settings (screen with a wrench as the icon). The language setting is the very first one. In that there is automatic, which is the first setting, or english, which is the second setting. hope this helps!
