Error Code I have a riso GR3770 that has a T1 error code, and advice? I called service out two years ago with the same error, and the tech reset something and charged me a high dollar amount for about five minuets of work.

From memory (haven't looked at one for about 7 years) the T1 fault was when the latch hadn't disengaged.

Back panel off, towards the middle at the bottom there is a small solenoid with a kindof latch/hook. It will be engaged onto a small lever.

IF it is the same fault as above, it's really easy to sort, by pushing it off with a screwdriver, as a lever.

The way to tell is if the roller under the drum is still engaged. If so, you won't be able to pull out the drum.

Let me know if it helps, or if you want another suggestion.

T1 is a main moter lock. Try pushing the ALL RESET see if that is the fix. If not the drum may be stuck on the master removal hooks. The problem is this will cause it to jump time. This is not easy to fix.

How do you put the drum back into timming, we believe the drum jumped out of timming

Remove the back cover, cut plastic ties that secure electrical harness, carefully unplug harness that was secure to large metal frame that support the belt tensioner, undo screws that secure the frame. Be sure to scribe a line on the shaft & disc of two half moon disc that rides between the two sensors. you have to remove them in order to get the frame off & thus the scribe marks are for timing purposes. remove tension motor to release tension from main drive belt release two screws from clutch and the large tension spring. return drum to the ( A ) position Home. rotate drum in clock wise rotation from the back of machine. A position is recognize by removing the drum there is a sensor at 6 O' clock @ the bottom of drum opening, match sensor on drum offset to the right of bottom sensor. replace all parts in reverse, pay attention timing marks and belt tension secure electrical connections & tie down. do not attempt if you are not mechanically inclined.
