You have to press the STORE button. Also, this will only save to the preset you're on and has no effect on other presets. So if you're on preset 1 and you disable EQ then press STORE you've only turned it off for that preset. #2, 3, etc. will still be enabled.

After you press STORE will show you something like this:

STORE: ROCK VENUE
Replacing
U1 DJ Setup
PRESS STORE TO ADVANCE

Rotate the DATA whell to select the program to be replaced and press STORE. The existing program (the one that had EQ turned on) will be replaced with the new program (the EQ turned off). If, for example, you do this to preset 1, now every time you dial to 1 you'll have the same, no EQ setting.

Increase iPad, iPhone, iPod battery backup !

  • Minimize use of location services: To disable location services, go to Settings > General > Location Services or use location services only when needed.
  • Turn off push notifications: To disable push notifications, go to Settings > Notifications and set Notifications to Off. Note that this does not prevent new data from being received when the application is opened. Also, the Notifications setting will not be visible if you do not have any applications installed that support push notifications.
  • Fetch new data less frequently: To fetch new data manually, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and tap Manually. To increase the fetch interval, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and tap Hourly. Note that this is a global setting and applies to all applications that do not support push services.
  • Turn off push mail: Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and set Push to Off. Messages sent to your push email accounts will now be received on your phone based on the global Fetch setting rather than as they arrive. If the global Fetch setting is set to Manually, you will not be able to locate your iPhone using the MobileMe Find My iPhone feature.
  • Auto-check fewer email accounts: This can be accomplished by turning off an email account or by deleting it. To turn off an account, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, choose an email account, and set Account to Off. To remove an account, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, choose an email account, and tap Delete Account.
  • Minimize use of third-party applications: Excessive use of applications such as games that prevent the screen from dimming or shutting off or applications that use location services can reduce battery life.
  • Turn off Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and set Wi-Fi to Off. Note that if you frequently use your iPhone to browse the web, battery life may be improved by using Wi-Fi instead of cellular data networks.
  • Turn off Bluetooth: Go to Settings > General > Bluetooth and set Bluetooth to Off.
  • Use Airplane Mode in low- or no-coverage areas: Because your iPhone always tries to maintain a connection with the cellular network, it may use more power in low- or no-coverage areas. Turning on Airplane Mode can increase battery life in these situations; however, you will be unable to make or receive calls. To turn on Airplane Mode, go to Settings and set Airplane Mode to On.
  • Adjust brightness: Dimming the screen is another way to extend battery life. Go to Settings > Brightness and drag the slider to the left to lower the default screen brightness. In addition, turning on Auto-Brightness allows the screen to adjust its brightness based on current lighting conditions. Go to Settings > Brightness and set Auto-Brightness to On.
  • Turn off EQ: To turn EQ off, go to Settings > iPod > EQ and tap Off. Note that if you’ve added EQ to songs directly in iTunes, you’ll need to set EQ on iPhone to Flat in order to have the same effect as Off because iPhone keeps your iTunes settings intact. Go to Settings > iPod > EQ and tap Flat.
  • Turn off 3G: To disable 3G, from the Home screen choose Settings > General > Network and set Enable 3G to Off. You will still be able to make and receive calls and access cellular data networks via EDGE or GPRS where available.

Hook up kenwood ge-1100

2 stereo rca cables tape out to line in on eq, line out from eq to tape in on receiver. press tape monitor button to use eq, turn off tape monitor for direct. some receivers also have a dedicated I/o for eq, you just need to remove the jumpers and install in that loop (out to in on eq out from eq to in on rcvr}

The low frequencies adjustment is not working when i turn the sub frequency on low it lowers the volume of the bass completely

check the rca cables on the back to see if you might have the sub woofer cable in wrong rca spot

this is how it should be wired from your radio front output a set of rca cables go to the radio input of the eq. if you have sub out on radio it will not be used ... eq takes place of it ... turn off subout on radio ... to use eq or preamp you must have at 2 amps 1 for mids and tweets and 1 for subs to work eq right

then from the eq you have another set of rca cables comming from the front output to your mids and tweet amp and then if you dont have a second amp u wont need rear output move over to the suboutput and run a set of rca cables from eq's sub output to sub amp this is how the audio cable section should be connected if you still dont get it to work proper then then it has a electronic issue and need to warranted out if still in warranty or buy new one .... here is a link to the install manual with a wire diagram for repair shop .....http://www.poweracoustik.com/pa2006/manual%20and%20catalog/Processors/PWM-20.pdf

Samsung HT-C550 The DSP/EQ or the Dolby Pro Logic II Mode buttons won't work. No change on faceplate display. Any help would be appreciated.

I had the problem and after pressing the DVD Receiver\DVD button to no avail went back to setup and turned the ASC Setting to off. Apparently I had forgotten to turn it off after doing the Auto Calibration.

Hope this helps.

Setting up rta on a driverack pa, system willnot

As far as I know, you just turn the dial so that you can hear the pink noise at what you expect to the the normal listening level, hit "next page" then the system starts "listening" and adjusting automatically. If you set the RTA to high resolution it can take a while. At this point you shouldn't be trying to hit next page. Just wait for a while. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes if you're on high resolution, depending on your room and setup. Let it go through and EQ. After a while you'll get a black progress bar at the bottom of the screen, sort of like a file download progress meter. Let it finish. If it's taking too long check the manual for how to change the auto eq to low or mid resolution.

I hope this helps. From your post I can't tell exactly what's going on. Reply with more info if you like and I'll try to help again.
