Your player is mp3 , that means it can only play mp3 files . Did you check the format of the music files on your computer before you download them to your mp3 ? They must be mp3 format also , otherwise they can not be played on your mini device . If they are not mp3 files , then you need to convert them before you download them to mp3 format before you download them to your mp3 player . If the files on your computer are in mp3 format , then the problem is in the software of your mp3 player . To fix software problem of your mini device , you need to update it's software . Updating software must be available on the manufacturer website .
good luck .

My GeneralPlus MSDC MP3 player shows to have music on the sd card but the player won't play

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

My computer won't recognize my SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player, do I need to download a driver? It used to recognize it.

Hi there, there are many ways to copy /transfer music to your player. Here¡¦s a common and simple way to do this process using Windows Explorer. Follow the instructions below: -Connect the disk storage (MP3 player) to your computers USB port. If the computer pops up a window asking what do you want windows to do? Click cancel. -Right click on My Computer and click on Explore. A split window will pop up and display the contents and drives on your computer. Look for the drive Removable Disk (E:) [The letter drive may vary depending on your computer] This is your MP3 player. -Next, drop down My Documents and click on the My Music folder. If you store your music files in a different location then find that folder. -Take a file from the My Music folder or where ever you store your music files, click on the music file drag and drop it into the E: Removable Disk on the left of the window. A window will pop up and display the progress of the copying. Repeat the process until your player is full. You have completed the file copy/transfer process! If this helped, then please rate, thank you!c829d7f.jpg

No data

update your ipod at http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp then plug it into the usb port go to my computer right click the icon when it opens you'll see a folder that says music, photos, record. open the music folder, there you can drop and drag files as long as their mp3 they should play. hopefully after you update your ipod your computer recognizes it. mine recognizes mine but i can only get music on it by opening the folder and coping files into it. may this might help
