My sanyo katana eclipse cell phone wont charge when i plug it in and its almost dead, what can i do????

It so hard to operate a phone that has no display but you can have maybe your contacts by getting the sim card from your phone and transfer it to the other working phone.

when you set the alarm make sure that you scroll to the bottom and in the preferences you can choose to make it no minutes before for up to 24 hours. this usually happens when you use the calendar alarm instead of the phones alarm

If you followed the registration instructions from Sanyo for your phone when you bought it I do not see why not. The manufacturer warranty is there for just this reason. However, I would not expect the same level like you are getting from sprint. You may have to mail your phone to them first and wait multiple weeks to get a working phone back.

If your phone is still under warranty from Sanyo make sure you give them a call if it is defective. I am sure they will do all they can as long as you have followed all their required warranty procedures.

There are three ways to transfer files to your mobile. USB,Bluetooth,3G Upload

Using a USB connection:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is compatible with the "USB Mass Storage" norm.While linking your Sanyo Katana Eclipse to your computer should make it appear as a memory key. Open it and just drag MP3 or other sound or music files straight to your phone, as if it was one of your computer's folder. For the remaining steps, please refer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse manual. The ringtone section should explain how to select an uploaded file as a ringtone. You can download user guide here
By Bluetooth:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is Bluetooth-enabled. Bluetooth is a wireless system which lets you connect your cell phone to computers, headsets, car kits, etc. If your computer is also Bluetooth-enabled, simply establish a connection between both devices and transfer your music files from your computer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse.


Via a 3G Uploader:
If none of the above tricks do not work with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse or if you prefer not to buy new accessories, you can still use one of the numerous free "3G Uploader" services available online. 3G uploaders work as follows: Save your own music on their web site and they will provide a temporary URL. Navigating to that URL with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse's browser should download the free ringtone.

when you connect phone with pc ,,,,,,,,,,
check the usb connection type in settings menu phone setting and connectivity settings then for data transfer select the mass storage or data transfer mode.....

it seems you have not charged your cell for initial 24 hrs and used the mobile as per the policy of every mobile company. Anyway, switch off your mobile and keep it on charging for next 24 hrs. In case it doesnot works after that also, go for replacement with the vendor.

Your battery needs to be replaced. make sure you fully charge the new one and completly drain it before charging it again. don't interupt the charging till its full that will shorten the life of your battery consiterably!

just simply take the battery out and the phone will shut off. You will not lose any contacts or other memory as long as the phone is on idle
